Canvas Couch Drawing Workshop.

Our Canvas Pouch Drawing Workshop combines creativity with mental wellness. Each participant receives a pouch pre-printed with uplifting words.

These affirmations set the tone for a mindful, positive art experience. Participants then decorate their pouches with vibrant colours, patterns, and cheerful illustrations, turning simple outlines into meaningful, personalised designs.

The process is calming, expressive, and encouraging which provides everyone the moment to slow down and focus on something joyful. Everyone leaves with a unique pouch that serves as both a useful item and a daily reminder of positivity, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Christmas Clay Tree Workshop at NAFA

Returning to my alma mater, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), after 20 years was nothing short of a dream come true. This time, I had the incredible honor of conducting a Christmas-themed workshop for my former lecturers and NAFA admin staff—an experience filled with nostalgia, gratitude, and joy.

Using air-dry clay, we created beautiful, festive Christmas trees, a project designed to bring out creativity and holiday cheer. As we molded and shaped the clay, it was heartwarming to see my lecturers—who once taught and inspired me—immerse themselves in the activity, laughing and enjoying the process.

NAFA played a pivotal role in shaping who I am today, and the skills and knowledge I gained there continue to be the foundation of my work. This workshop felt like a full-circle moment, a chance to give back to the very people and place that nurtured my artistic journey.

Seeing everyone have fun and take pride in their creations reminded me why I do what I do. It was a truly meaningful experience, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with the NAFA community in such a special way.

Suncatcher Painting Workshop with P1 cohort @ Catholic High (Pri).

In this activity, students get to create their very own colorful suncatchers! Each student will start by selecting a template design and tracing it onto a round acrylic sheet. Using vibrant glass paints, they will bring their design to life.

To ensure safety while maintaining the beautiful stained-glass effect, we’ve replaced traditional glass with durable acrylic. This makes the activity safe, fun, and suitable for students of all ages while achieving the same stunning results!
