Our theme of patience came alive today as the children waited for their turns in musical chairs, focused during sewing practice, and took turns picking blocks for their building activity.

🍦💧📚🫐 A week of learning through play at Little Lions Preschool!

Our Cubs explored creativity and sensory fun as they made their own “ice cream” cones while learning about shapes and colors, and enjoyed some refreshing water play that encouraged teamwork, mindfulness, and fine motor skills.

Meanwhile, our Lions sharpened their thinking and storytelling skills through story sequencing—discovering the beginning, middle, and end of a story—and stretched their patterning knowledge by creating their own fruit patterns beyond the classic AB type!

We ended the week with bubbly fun, as the children practiced turn-taking, patience, and fine motor control during bubble play. 🫧

Every activity was a scoop of fun and learning combined! 🍓🫐🍫

A Glimpse From Our Little Lions Bakery! 🍪

Children explored, experimented, and discovered in every corner of our bakery! Some balanced marshmallows on sticks, testing and adjusting until their creations wobbled just right. Others poured and sifted oats, noticing how the grains slipped through their fingers. At the dough station, tiny hands pressed, flattened, and cut shapes, imagining stars, hearts, and circles.

Through these hands-on activities, children practiced fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and sensory exploration — all driven by their own curiosity! 🦁💛
