I wish you lived forever 🌱🌊🌎 ❤️You taught us to care, to act and to have hope.
We have lost a true hero, who inspired millions to care for our planet and to care for one another. Dr Jane devoted her life to protecting the planet, ecosystems and giving animals a voice.
Her presence, conversations and kindness, I will always cherish. Her determination, strength, courage and love of nature will always be my inspiration.
Dr Jane spread Hope with the next generation and taught us about our role in protecting our environment, a responsibility we all share. She taught us that every individual can make a difference.
Let’s all make a difference and continue her legacy and protect our one shared home and make Dr Jane Goodall proud of us all.

A special day at Parliament House in Brisbane celebrating the Queensland Youth Parliament’s 30th Anniversary. The reunion and networking event brought together current Members Of Parliament, past and present Youth Members of Parliament, stakeholders and supporters.
The Queensland Youth Parliament program is something that I’m really excited to be part of this year. I was selected as the Youth Member for Noosa and have been learning about parliamentary processes, attending youth meetings and camps, doing community consultations and meeting a whole lot of epic young people all doing incredible things in their electorate. I’ll be heading back to Parliament House later this year to present a Bill with my committee (made up of 12 young Qld’s) that we have written to hopefully create legislative change.
This year, the Queensland Youth Parliament received a record number of nearly 500 applications from young Queenslanders eager to represent their electorates. From this highly competitive field, 93 young leaders were selected to serve as representatives for their community.
The program provides a platform for young people across the state to develop their leadership skills, learn about parliamentary processes, advocate for issues important to them while helping to empower the next generation of leaders. 🦈🐢🐨🐸🐝🐋🪼🐬🐊🦘❤️
