Thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday for an engaging session with Fraxtor Singapore!

Participants engaged the panel with questions on private real estate investing, including returns, investment amounts, holding periods, exit options and risks.

The conversation covered how private real estate compares with REITs and listed property developers, alongside Singapore’s property outlook, overseas opportunities, co-living and the impact of higher borrowing costs, underscoring the importance of understanding both the opportunities and risks when considering alternative investments.

Thank you to our partners, Fraxtor Singapore, Knight Frank, The Assembly Place, CapitaLand Investment and Mapletree Private Capital, for making the session possible!

🚨 SIAS is warning investors against "Nanning"-type investment schemes, arrangements promising exceptionally high, low-risk returns through recruiting new participants, often with claims of secret ties to government officials or government-backed projects.

SIAS urges investors to take caution, and to remember one of the most important principles of investing: If an investment opportunity sounds too good to be true, it probably is, and more often than not, it is likely to be a scam.

Think all ETFs are designed for the same purpose? Not quite. While some ETFs are built for long-term investing, others are designed to amplify returns, take short positions or track complex strategies — and can behave very differently from what investors might expect.

Join Ash Ahmad, Relationship Manager at Saxo Singapore, for a practical deep dive into the less obvious side of ETFs. Discover how specialised ETFs work, why they are often misunderstood, and the risks of using them incorrectly. More importantly, learn how to distinguish ETFs designed for long-term wealth building from those better suited for short-term tactical use!

Attention minority shareholders of ICP Ltd. 📢

ICP is convening an EGM on 21 September 2026 to vote on a Selective Capital Reduction (SCR) which would see minority shares cancelled at $0.007 per share. This is below the $0.009 exit offer made just over a year ago when the company delisted in July 2025.

SIAS has issued a press statement on what you need to know, and urge shareholders to exercise their rights at the upcoming EGM.
