ABFER is delighted to announce that Professor Guojun He (University of Hong Kong) is the recipient of the ABFER Researcher Award 2026.

Since its launch in 2024, the ABFER Researcher Award has recognised research that is both rigorous and deeply relevant to Asia—resonating with academics, practitioners, and policymakers alike. This year’s nominations were exceptionally strong, and we are especially pleased to honour Professor He for his impactful contributions to sustainability and political economy research in Asia.

The award will be presented at the ABFER Welcome Dinner on 18 May 2026. Programme details: https://www.abfer.org/events/abfer-events/annual-conference/424:ac2026-wd-keynote
