Learning by doing — what better way to hone the skills of our young videographers, editors, and interviewers than by bringing them to an actual event for hands-on event coverage! 🎥✨
This video project is a meaningful collaboration between three CCAs — Art Club, Stage Crafters, and Infocom — where creativity, teamwork, and communication came together in the best possible way.
The art exhibition itself was also a wonderful collaboration with SJI Junior and St Andrew’s School, making the experience even more enriching for our students as they connected and learnt alongside their peers from other schools.
From planning shots and conducting interviews to editing footage behind the scenes, our students had the opportunity to apply their learning in an authentic setting while gaining valuable real-world experience.
We are deeply grateful to our partner schools - St. Joseph’s Institution (Junior) & St. Andrews School (Junior), CCA teachers, and everyone involved in making this meaningful collaboration possible. Most importantly, we are proud to see our students grow in confidence, creativity and collaboration as they learn beyond the classroom and discover the power of storytelling through media.

What an inspiring few days at Art Space @ Helutrans! 🎨✨
Our Yew Tee Primary School Art Club students proudly showcased their artworks alongside students from St. Joseph’s Institution Junior and St Andrew’s School (Junior), sharing their creativity, imagination, and artistic explorations with the community.
From vibrant paintings and optical illusions to sculptures and interactive installations, the exhibition celebrated the many ways our young artists experiment with ideas, materials, and perspectives. It was wonderful to see students engaging with visitors, viewing one another’s works, and experiencing their creations displayed in a professional gallery setting. 🌟
A big thank you to everyone who came down to support the exhibition and celebrate the hard work and creativity of our students!

From Chengdu 🇨🇳 to Singapore 🇸🇬, poetry became a beautiful bridge of friendship 🌏✨
Our Primary 4 Higher Chinese students had the wonderful opportunity to connect with students from Caotang Primary School through lively exchanges of rhymes, local flavours, and creative poetry writing activities. Together, they explored the richness of language and culture, sharing stories, ideas, and perspectives while learning more about one another’s traditions and daily lives.
Through every poem written and every conversation shared, students discovered how creativity can bring people closer together across countries and cultures. It was a meaningful experience filled with collaboration, curiosity, and genuine cross-cultural friendships — showing that learning can happen far beyond the classroom walls. 🍜📖
A special thank you to Kranji Secondary School for making this meaningful cultural exchange possible.

🌱🏆 Our YTPS Environment Club Changemakers have done us proud! 🏆🌱
We are thrilled to share that our students have been awarded the Gold Standard Award at the Sustainability Youth Festival (TSYF) 2026! ✨♻️
In Yew Tee Primary School, we believe in nurturing students to be changemakers. Through their project, _Threads of Change_, our students showed how old clothes can be given a second life through upcycling, inspiring others to reduce textile waste and care for the environment.

Recently, we had the joy of welcoming students and educators from Fuxing Elementary School, Taipei, for a meaningful cultural exchange. Our Primary 5 students confidently shared about life in Singapore, from school experiences to local traditions, while learning more about their Taiwanese peers along the way. Despite coming from different backgrounds, the students quickly discovered many similarities — bonding over food, laughter, and school experiences.
One of the highlights was learning the angklung together, where music became a bridge that connected everyone beyond language. Through moments like these, our students learn to appreciate different cultures, build global perspectives, and form friendships that go beyond borders.

What an incredible Characters Come Alive Day we had at YTPS in Week 5! Our theme “Unlocking Magical Worlds” truly came to life as our school community transformed into beloved book characters. We were particularly impressed by our students’ creativity in crafting costumes and props using recyclable materials, showcasing both imagination and sustainability. From our School Leaders as Inside Out characters to our support staff as the delightful Smurfs, everyone contributed to making SuperReaders, Assemble! 2026 a magical success. Thank you to our entire Yew Tee family for believing in the power of stories and inspiring our students to read for joy.
