What does meaningful Chinese language learning look like? 🌱
During his visit to Little Olive Tree@HLV, Professor Pan Shih Tsun observed how our teachers listen, respond and build on children’s ideas through thoughtful questioning.
Not just teaching children the answers, but helping them learn to think, express and discover.
We are grateful for his encouragement and recognition of our teachers’ work.

What does meaningful Chinese language learning look like?
During his visit to Little Olive Tree@HLV, Professor Pan Shih Tsun observed how our teachers listen, respond and build on children’s ideas through thoughtful questioning.
His observations affirmed what we believe deeply: meaningful learning happens when children are given the space to think, express themselves and discover together.
We’re grateful for the encouragement and recognition, and especially proud of the dedication of our Curriculum Department and teachers.
Beyond the Classroom: What Our Visitors Saw in Little Olive Tree’s Approach to Chinese Language Learning At Little Olive Tree, meaningful learning begins with seeing, listening and responding to children. More Than a Performance - Little Olive Tree Ghim Moh
Yesterday, our LOT Ghim Moh children had the joy of performing for the seniors at PCS Cedar Tree AAC @ Strathmore. ❤️
But moments like these are never just about the performance.
They are about children learning to step forward, share their energy, and connect with people from a different generation.
And for our seniors, we hope the music, movement and smiles brought a little joy to their day too.
Because we believe growing up isn't just about learning skills.
It's about learning to care, connect and contribute.
This is why we do what we do.
To nurture children who don't just know how to perform — but know how to show up for others. 🌱
Thank you to PCS Cedar Tree AAC @ Strathmore for welcoming us and sharing this special intergenerational moment with us.

✨ Infant 晨之星 | Morning Star
Designed especially for infants aged 2 to 18 months, Infant 晨之星 is a picture and music based programme that recognises the unique developmental needs of babies in their early years.
Through pictures, music, sensory experiences and responsive interactions, infants are given opportunities to explore themselves and the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment.
We follow their cues, respond to their interests and give them space to discover at their own pace.
温柔启蒙,点亮小小星光。✨
Gentle beginnings. Bright little stars.
