We are grateful for having His Grace, Archbishop Julian Leow, to lead us in a time of prayer and recollection this week!

Let us pray to continue growing in our relationships with God and with each other!

Today, our Seminary rejoices with our newly ordained priests: Fr Bernard Tng, Fr Eugene Chan, Fr Marcus Chew, and Fr Kevin Wee.

Let us keep them in our prayers, that they may celebrate the Sacraments with great fervour and joy to feed the flock of Christ!

Do continue to pray for us too in our formation, that we may be formed after the Heart of Christ the High Priest!

One week remains until the Sacerdotal Ordination of our four Deacons! Today, as we celebrate the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles at Pentecost, let us pray that He may also descend upon our Deacons — to purify their hearts to reflect the Heart of the Good Shepherd, and anoint them to celebrate the Sacred Mysteries for the People of God with love, truth, and mercy.

On Easter Saturday, 23 young men gathered for our Diocesan Vocation Recollection to discern the foundation of the priesthood. They reflected on encountering the Risen Christ and being sent forth by Him. We thank Fr Clarence and Fr Venus for sharing their insights and experiences on priesthood as an Easter mission — born from the Resurrection and entrusted with proclaiming new life to the world.

Thank you for your constant and faithful prayers. Do continue to keep all who are discerning their vocation, in your prayers — that they may have the courage to respond with generosity and trust!

On the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, we rejoice as our brothers were invested with the cassock—a visible sign of their response to God’s call and their growing commitment to serve Christ and His Church.

This moment marks an important milestone in their formation, as they take another step forward in offering their lives more fully to the Lord and settling more firmly into the rhythm of community life.

May this outward sign continue to shape the way they live each day with humility, fidelity, and love.
