Materiality assessment is one of the more painful parts of sustainability reporting: designing stakeholder questionnaires, consolidating responses, calculating scores, and plotting a materiality matrix by hand. Straightforward in theory, time-consuming and error-prone in practice.

Chris, a sustainability consultant, took this on as part of his GA100 training. Using Manus AI, he built a Materiality Assessment Builder that automates the heavy lifting, from consolidating stakeholder responses to generating the materiality matrix, making the process faster, more consistent, and more accurate.

His takeaway stuck with us: AI is not just capable of automating repetitive work, it can turn a clunky process into a more intuitive experience altogether.

Thank you for sharing, Chris!

How do you turn AI interest into applied product design capability, inside a regulated bank?

That was the challenge facing DBS Business Design. Rather than a generic AI course, the team ran a private, customised GA100 programme with Heicoders Academy: three days, 18 designers, built entirely around real design workflows.

Microsoft Copilot anchored the foundational prompting lessons (matching DBS's M365 environment), before the cohort moved into hands-on building with agentic tools: Manus AI, n8n workflow automation and RAG for business data. Every exercise was grounded in the team's actual work, from UX research to stakeholder documentation, with responsible AI practices woven throughout.

The result: a full cohort of designers who moved from understanding what generative AI can do to actively applying it in their everyday product work.

As an entrepreneur. just starting out, it is rarely the big work that wears you down. It is the hundred small tasks sitting between you and it.

AI tools can help you draft an email or summarise a document. AI agents can take on recurring, multi-step work, such as sorting client enquiries, updating a tracker, creating folders, and drafting the routine reply for your review.

In our new founder-led guide, Yu Ning shares the playbook we wish we had when Heicoders was still run by two people working full-time jobs: start by doing the task manually, automate the mechanical steps first, keep your judgement in the loop, and give the agent time to learn from your corrections.

No code required. Just one repetitive task worth getting off your plate.

When Enterprise Singapore's Accreditation and Assurance Division set out to move officers beyond basic chatbot use, it came with a real constraint: strict government device and data handling rules meant sensitive accreditation and compliance data could never touch an external platform, and one initially preferred tool could not even be used on office devices.

We customised a full-day, six-hour workshop for up to 30 officers, built entirely around ChatGPT and Manus AI, grounded in generic, non-sensitive accreditation and assurance scenarios, so officers could build real skills without ever exposing sensitive data.

The day progressed from prompt engineering fundamentals to usage of Agents, with officers using Manus AI Agent to run real workflows: research and staff paper writing, compliance data analysis, spreadsheet automation, and slide generation. The session closed with a segment on AI governance, covering hallucination, bias, and safe organisational AI use.

For many officers, this was the first time they ran their own AI agent.

Most people learning to build with AI start with something simple. Shu Kai went straight for stochastic volatility modelling.

As a Financial Engineer, he used Manus AI during his GA100 training to build an interactive explorer for the SABR model, a tool quants use for volatility modelling, giving it a user-friendly interface anyone could interact with. He crafted the prompt, and the agent planned, built, and shipped the working site end to end.

Thank you for sharing, Shu Kai!

Everyone's talking about OpenClaw, the open-source AI agent that's out-starred React and the Linux kernel on GitHub.

But "AI with hands" comes with real trade-offs: prompt injection risks, credential exposure and a setup that needs a terminal, not just a login.

We broke down what OpenClaw actually is, how it works under the hood and the security precautions worth knowing before anyone on your team gets curious. If your org is exploring AI agents the safer way, our Generative AI Course (GA100) covers tools like Manus AI and n8n for building automated workflows without the DIY security checklist.

Financial crime teams don't need generic AI training. They need AI that holds up in a regulated, high-stakes environment.

That's the brief for Standard Chartered's Financial Crime & Security Operations (FCSO) function: a private, customised run of our GA100 programme for a 37-person global cohort, delivered across three full days at SMU.

Participants went from prompt engineering fundamentals on Microsoft Copilot to building and deploying real agentic workflows with Manus AI and n8n, working through RAG for business data and closing with a capstone on managing AI risk. Every scenario was built around FCSO's actual work: case summarisation, investigation workflows and regulatory reporting, not off-the-shelf examples.

By the end, the cohort had moved from understanding what generative AI can do to actively applying it, with responsible AI built in from day one.

Back in July, we ran a Prompt Engineering webinar for PropertyGuru's entire workforce across Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and India, helping Gurus move from generic AI outputs to prompts that actually worked for their day to day roles.

On 6 August, we returned for the next step: an AI Applications webinar, "From Spreadsheet to Dashboard", as part of PropertyGuru's Learning Fest. This time, 126 Gurus went beyond writing good prompts and got hands on, building their own dashboards using Copilot 365, OpenAI, and agentic AI tools like Manus AI.

The session closed with a live Guru Innovation Challenge, where participants had 15 minutes to build a dashboard addressing a real problem at PropertyGuru, with management reviewing every entry to select a winner.

Two sessions in, and Gurus across the organisation now have a practical foundation they can actually apply to their own work, not just concepts they have heard about.
