When Temasek Trust wanted to equip this cohort with genuine, actionable AI capability and not generic awareness training, they brought in Heicoders Academy.

We designed and delivered a 3-hour Executive AI Leadership Workshop facilitated by our Co-Founder Kong Yu Ning, covering everything from how large language models actually work, to live agentic AI demonstrations using Manus AI applied directly to founder workflows. By the end of the session, participants had moved from general AI awareness to a structured, operational understanding of where and how to deploy AI across their organisations.

AI training for leaders shouldn't start from scratch. It should meet experienced operators where they are.

We wrapped up four days at the Learning Neighbourhood @ South West, and it was a genuinely eye-opening experience, for the people we spoke to and for us too.

The conversations at our booth were different from what we typically encounter at corporate events. This was a heartland audience, working adults from the South West exploring their upskilling options, many of whom had never been introduced to Agentic AI before. For a lot of them, what we shared went well beyond what they expected to hear at a community mall event.

One moment stood out. A machine learning engineer with close to 20 years of experience stopped by our booth. Someone with a strong technical background, who you might assume has already seen it all. After speaking with us, he came to realise there is still a meaningful gap between knowing AI and knowing how to apply Agentic AI practically to his work. He signed up on the spot.

That, to us, is the clearest signal of where the industry is heading. It's not just beginners who have more to learn. Even seasoned practitioners are finding that practical, applied AI capability is a different skill set entirely.
