27 March 2026 was an unforgettable day! Our little explorers went to Sentosa Sensoryscape! From the moment we arrived, the children were immersed in a world of sights, sounds, textures, and scents that sparked their curiosity and creativity.
They wandered through vibrant gardens, touched interesting textures, listened to soothing nature sounds, and discovered playful spaces designed to engage all their senses. Every corner brought new excitement, whether it was feeling the cool mist, spotting colorful plants, or simply enjoying the open space with friends.
More than just a fun outing, this experience encouraged exploration, observation, and confidence as our children interacted with the environment in meaningful ways. ๐

Children at Sunflower Siglap celebrated Deepavali โ The Festival of Lights with a joyful blend of colour, culture, and community spirit!

Our little ones worked together to create vibrant modified Rangoli designs using coloured crepe paper. These traditional patterns brought beauty to our school grounds and symbolised a warm welcome for all.

The children enjoyed a taste of Indian cuisine with crunchy Murukku and delicious Roti Prata โ a fun and tasty way to explore Deepavali traditions!

Our Henna booth was buzzing with excitement as they got beautiful mehndi designs drawn on their hands โ a meaningful tradition during Indian festivals.

We ended the celebration on a high note with a colourful and energetic Indian dance performance that brought everyone to their feet!

๐๐ฎ Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration Highlights! ๐ฎ๐
Sunflower @ Siglap was glowing with festive joy as children came together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, a beautiful tradition that brings people closer under the full moon.
โจ The day began with an introduction to the Mid-Autumn Festival, where they learned about its rich cultural history, the legend of Changโe, and the significance of family, reunion, and gratitude.
๐ We were treated to a lovely dance performance that brought elegance and energy to the celebration, showcasing movements that honor the spirit of the festival.
๐ธ Children had fun at the photo booth, snapping pictures with moon-themed backdrops, lanterns, and festive props โ memories to last a lifetime!
๐จ One of the highlights was mooncake-making using air clay and moulds! They got hands-on, crafting adorable mini mooncakes to take home as souvenirs.
๐ฎ The celebration reached a magical moment as children participated in a lantern releasing activity, gently placing floating lanterns into water while making silent wishes. A peaceful and meaningful tradition that lit up more than just the pool.
๐ฏ And of course, there was lots of laughter at the fun โThrow the Hoop Over the Carrotโ game, where children tested their aim in this light-hearted challenge that brought lots of cheers and friendly competition!
