📏✨ Mission: Measurement—Completed!

Over a recent weekend, our little learners turned their homes into mini math labs—measuring doors, tables, and anything they could get their hands on using blocks and same-sized toys! 🧱🚪🍽️

With their activity sheets in hand (and a lot of enthusiasm), they explored the concept of measurement in the most hands-on way possible—no rulers required!

We loved seeing these young mathematicians hard at work, proudly counting and stacking their way through the challenge. 💪🧠👏

A huge well done to all our Alpha Green kids who completed the challenge independently—yes, rewards were claimed and celebrations were had! 🎉🍬

🛒 Gone Shopping!

At Alpha Green Preschool, learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom—it happens in the aisles, at the checkout counter, and yes… right in front of the snack shelves! 😉

Our little explorers took a trip to the supermarket as part of our real-life learning experience. From picking out bananas to scanning barcodes and choosing their favourite treats, every moment was a lesson in independence, communication, and everyday life skills.

And of course, our teachers got a little insight too—like who makes a beeline for Hello Panda and who goes straight for the gummies! 🍭🍌

What made this trip even more meaningful? It was also conducted for our immersive language program—children learned to name fruits, snacks, and common items in Mandarin, German, or Russian, guided by native-speaking educators.

At AGP, we spend 10+ hours a week learning outside the classroom, bringing lessons to life through real-world experiences and local partnerships. These outings are more than just excursions—they’re curated, purposeful learning opportunities.

Earlier this month, we had the joy of welcoming our wonderful moms into the preschool for a morning filled with connection and creativity. From tote bag painting to playful games, the children and their mothers shared laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments side by side. 🖌️🎲👩‍👧

Moments like these reflect what we deeply believe at AGP: that it truly takes a village to raise a child. And when we bring families into our learning spaces, we’re not just celebrating—they’re becoming part of a supportive, nurturing community that grows with every child.

🎭 A Day at the Theatre!
Our little ones from Alpha Green Preschool had an unforgettable experience watching Threads: The Emperor’s New Clothes at the Singapore Repertory Theatre! The vibrant costumes, catchy tunes, and delightful storytelling captivated their imaginations and brought smiles all around. 🌟

At Alpha Green, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom walls. In the week leading up to the show, our children explored the story, characters, and deeper themes—like honesty, courage, and self-expression—so that by the time they took their seats in the theatre, they were fully engaged and ready to connect with the performance on a meaningful level. 🎭💬✨

We make it a point to bring our children on enriching field trips where they are exposed to the arts, culture, and real-world experiences that broaden their horizons, spark creativity, and deepen their love for learning. 🎨🚌🎶
