β¨ Excited to share my experience attending the βInquiry in Actionβ workshop at Jakarta Intercultural School with an incredible lineup of expertsβKath Murdoch, Paul Anderson, Matt Glover, and Megan Holmstrom! π
The workshop was nothing short of transformative, deepening my understanding of the power of inquiry in education. Learning about the value of asking the right questions and giving students the space to explore has been invaluable. π€π‘
As a curriculum consultant, Iβm inspired and energized to reflect on how I can influence teachers to embrace inquiry-based approaches in their classrooms. Itβs clear that fostering curiosity and empowering students to ask meaningful questions can shape their learning journey in powerful ways.
Grateful for this opportunity to grow and collaborate with such an amazing group of educators at Jakarta Intercultural School. Iβm excited to take these insights back and continue supporting teachers in creating dynamic, inquiry-driven learning environments! π¬β¨

π Learning Through Action! π
We had an amazing time at Bounce Trampoline Park with our Secondary Three students! πβ¨ It was a day full of energyβliterally! Students applied their physics knowledge in a fun and interactive way.
At the Basketball station, they explored how energy converts from Gravitational Potential Energy to Kinetic Energy as the ball left their hands and flew toward the hoop. π Another highlight was jumping into the airbag, where they drew the trajectory of their jumps and considered the conservation of energy. π
Swipe to see some of their moments in action! πΈ
Thank you to all parents for your support, and for letting your child be a part of this unforgettable learning journey. Looking forward to more exciting adventures! ππ‘

π Learning Journey to ArtScience Museum π
Our Secondary One students recently had an unforgettable educational trip to the Future World Exhibit at the ArtScience Museum, Marina Bay Sands! πβ¨
Having just delved into the Ray Model of Light in class, what better way to expand our understanding than by exploring the incredible light exhibits? πΆοΈπ‘
π Crystal Universe π
We kicked off with the mesmerizing Crystal Universe. This exhibit created a stunning illusion of infinite lights, simulating the vastness of the stars. Using mirrors to achieve this effect, our students applied their knowledge of mirror properties and reflections to solve intriguing questions. π π
π¨ Sketch Music - Playing Music πΆ
Next, students' creativity and understanding of light came to life at Sketch Music - Playing Music. By sketching on a wall, they generated beautiful images accompanied by melodious music. Here, they learned about piezoelectric materials and how pressing on the screen generated light, linking it to how devices like iPhones work! π±π
π 100 Years Sea π
In the 100 Years Sea exhibit, a thought-provoking sketch depicted the potential impact of climate change in a century. Students were encouraged to reflect on their role in combating climate change and brainstorm ways to make a difference. ππ§
We wrapped up this enriching journey with a delicious meal at Haidilao, rewarding ourselves for a day of learning and discovery. π²π
Our visit to the ArtScience Museum was more than just a trip; it was an immersive experience that bridged classroom knowledge with real-world applications, inspiring our students to think critically and creatively. ππ
