So immensely proud of the Sec 3, 4 and 5s for tackling the STEM Playground Marble Run challenge with determination and heart!

They showed amazing perseverance through setbacks, creative problem-solving, and positive attitudes throughout. Watching them collaborate, experiment and never giving up, reminds us that learning is about the journey, not just the result.

Good morning students, parents, and teachers,

I want to start today with one word: inflection.

An inflection point is a moment when direction changes. It is not the end of the road, and it is not a final judgement. It is a point where you pause, take stock, and decide your next move.

Today is one such moment.

In a short while, you will receive your O Level results. These results show the work you have put in over the years—late nights, repeated practice, and effort on days when motivation was low. They matter. They open doors and create options. But they do not tell the whole story of who you are, and they do not decide your future for you.

Many of you will be happy with what you see, and you should be proud of that. Some of you may feel unsure. Whatever you are feeling, take it in calmly. Remember this: results give information, not a label.

For a small number of you, today may feel heavier than expected. If that is you, hear this clearly—this moment does not cancel your chances. Sometimes an inflection point means adjusting your route, not stopping altogether. What matters is what you do next, and who you turn to for guidance.

At a moment like this, it helps to focus on what you can control. This is where our school values continue to guide you.

Self-Directedness means taking responsibility for your next step. As you move on to junior college, polytechnic, or ITE, no one will remind you daily to stay on task. You will need to plan your time, keep yourself disciplined, and make choices that suit you.

Integrity means being honest with yourself. Acknowledge what you did well. Admit what you need to improve. There is strength in facing the truth and working on it.

Resilience matters because the next phase will bring new challenges. Things may not always go smoothly. When you struggle, learn from it, adjust, and keep going.

Excellence is no longer just about grades. It is about putting in consistent effort, taking pride in your work, and doing your best wherever you are.

And Harmony reminds us that you did not get here alone. Thank your parents, teachers, and friends. As you move on to different paths, continue to respect and support one another.

After today, most of you will move on to junior colleges or polytechnics, and some to ITE. These pathways are different, but none of them limits what you can become. What matters is how seriously you take the opportunities in front of you.

Take time to understand your options. Talk to your parents and teachers. Make decisions carefully, not in a rush.

To the Sec 4 and Sec 5 students watching today, take this as a reminder. Results day does not come suddenly—it is built day by day. What you do now, how you study, how you seek help, and how consistent you are will shape your own results later. Start early, stay steady, and do not wait until the last minute.

To our parents, thank you for your constant support and trust in your children.

To our teachers and staff, thank you for your guidance, patience, and care.

As you leave this school, remember this: an inflection point does not decide where you will end up, but it can change the direction you take.

Carry with you the values you have learned here. Take responsibility for your choices. Keep going even when things are tough, and continue to do your best.

Your O Level results mark an important turning point, not the end of the journey.

All the best, and thank you.

Dear 4N Class of 2025,

Today marks a milestone, not a finishing line for a race. 💛

Your N-Level results reflect effort, not worth. Whatever the outcome, each of you would have a meaningful pathway ahead. What truly matters are the values you carry forward: Resilience in setbacks, Integrity in choices, Self-directedness in strength, and Excellence with growth. 🌱✨
Believe in yourself and take the next step with confidence. 🚀

Mr Marc (Vice-Principal)
