Browsing through D’s Science WA2 paper today, the first thing he excitedly shared with me wasn’t his score because he already knew he had achieved his target.

Instead, he proudly pointed at the questions he scored full marks for and said,
“I remembered what you told me and wrote the answer properly to get full marks!”

Moments like this remind me that tuition is not just about improving grades, but also about helping students understand how to answer with clarity, confidence, and proper scientific explanation.

Seeing students apply what they have learnt independently during exams is always the most rewarding part of teaching. Proud of your hard work and progress, D!

From AL6 in PSLE to a strong Grade 2 Distinction (73%) in Secondary 1 G2 Maths. What an amazing transformation!

HS has been consistent and hardworking, always completing assignments and staying focused this year.

Last year, maths was a real challenge for J. But she didn’t give up. She put in extra effort, stayed consistent with her revision, and it all paid off. She just got her results for the first weighted assessment this year and scored a distinction!

It’s amazing to see how hard work and determination can turn things around. Keep going, J, let’s build on this and aim for even greater success in the O Level Maths exam in October!

C went from failing her first weighted assessment in Secondary 1 to achieving an excellent grade in the year end exam, progressing step by step at her own learning pace. Both her parents and I are truly pleased with her progress.

As she moved up to Secondary 2, she decided to continue with G2 Math instead of the more challenging G3 Math, and everyone supported her decision. In the first test in Secondary 2, she once again achieved an excellent grade. Despite facing difficulties during her studies and test revision, at one point even worrying about failing. She persevered to the end.

Now that the results are out, she did lose some marks due to carelessness, but her passion for learning remains strong. Hopefully, moving forward, she will have less worry and more confidence in her studies!

Feeling incredibly proud of one of my students today! 🙌 Five months ago, I started working with C who was referred by another parent. Her parents shared that she was feeling stressed and had lost confidence in her math abilities, often keeping her struggles to herself.

But from the start, she showed a real willingness to learn and pushed through the challenges. Her persistence and dedication to practicing, even when the concepts were tough, has truly paid off.

Fast forward to now—she scored an impressive 36/40 in her weighted assessment 3 and achieved 83% in her end-of-year exam! 🎉
