Members of the Handbells Ensemble had an enjoyable and meaningful VIA programme with guests from ABLE (Abilities Beyond Limitation and Expectations), a social service agency in Singapore. It was very encouraging to see our girls stepping out of their comfort zone and interacting with our guests, making music together with the hand chimes and handbells to the lively tune of Rasa Sayang.

Our school celebrated Mass on Friday, 17 April 2026. It was a beautiful celebration of faith, unity and shared values, with all Catholic students and staff in attendance. Many Catholic parents also joined us as Father Adrian Yeo of Holy Family Church presided. Mabuhay! Our school commemorated International Friendship Day on 8 April with the theme "Forging Friendships in a Complex World."
This year’s country in focus is The Philippines! Students took part in a special one-hour recess experience to explore the culture and heritage of the Philippines. They learnt about traditional Filipino attires, practices such as the the kamayan (communal eating with hands) and games such as the Tiyakad (racing on tin cans) and Battle Lata. They also learnt simple conversational Tagalog and weaving (paghahabi) techniques. During the assembly programme, students learnt more about The Philippines being the ASEAN Chair of the year and its significance. Beyond the activities, our students understood the importance of friendships, working and accepting one another.
Together, we play our part in forging friendships in a complex world — Strong As One!

Second meet-up, stronger connections.
From shy smiles to meaningful conversations, our P1 students are growing more confident, while our P4 PALs continue to protect, affirm and lead.
By including, encouraging and guiding their buddies, they are practising the 5 Practices of Exemplary Leadership — one recess at a time.
Kind words
Including others
Caring for one another
Growing together
Budding friendships are taking root, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow in Semester 2.
Like the saying goes ‘IJ friends are friends for life’.

Easter Monday arrived in our school through a meaningful and joyful celebration during morning assembly, with a presentation about the significance and relevance of Easter.
The highlight of the day was the Easter Carnival held during all the recesses, where students enjoyed a variety of thoughtfully curated stations including games and craft activities. This brought much excitement to the school grounds - all thanks to the dedication and hard work of a committed team of parent volunteers who planned and organised the entire event. Their generosity, creativity and attention to detail contributed greatly to the success of the event!

Our school observed the annual Maundy Thursday service through a meaningful assembly programme that helped students and staff reflect on the significance of this holy day. A presentation on the Last Supper highlighted how Jesus Christ shared His final meal with His disciples, reminding them of love, sacrifice, and unity.
The students and staff also learnt about the Washing of Feet, a powerful act where Jesus humbly served His disciples. Through this, they were reminded that true leadership is shown through humility, kindness, and service to others. There was a reenactment of the scene where our Principal and two teachers washed the feet of 12 Upper Primary students. Through the assembly message, everyone was encouraged to practise these values in their daily lives, especially within the school community.

Our annual Sports Carnival on 27 March 2026 at Temasek Polytechnic was filled with energy, joy, and togetherness.
P3–P6 students and parents came together for a morning of games and friendly competition. The girls cheered with pride for their houses during the inter-house relay races, followed by the much-loved Parents Race, where parents gamely took to the track with great enthusiasm, adding to the festive spirit of the day.
Through the Captain’s Ball games and various game challenges, students demonstrated teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship, learning to support one another and persevere through challenges.
We are grateful to our parent volunteers and all staff involved for making the day a meaningful and memorable for our girls!
