Another encouraging result from one of my P6 students - full marks for this Catholic High (Primary) non-WA paper! π
Doing well once may involve an easy paper or a little luck, but doing well consistently takes both ability and effort. This student has shown both qualities.
Well done and keep it up!

This SCGS WA paper was definitely a little more challenging than average, so this result was not easy to achieve. Glad to see your hard work paying off.
Keep up the good work!

π΄ PSLE 2018 Paper 2 β Can your child solve this?
Two containers. Some water. One simple pour.
Yet this question caused so many P6 students to lose marks in the actual exam.
Try it yourself first π
Container X has a base area of 30 cmΒ² and contains 780 cmΒ³ of water.
Container Y is empty, with a base of 30 cm Γ 9 cm.
Sam pours some water from X into Y β no spilling.
After pouring, both containers have the same water level height.
Question:
a) What was the height of the water in X before pouring?
b) How much water did Sam pour into Y?
