Pei Hwa Secondary School hosted Ambassador Sarah McGrath and her staff from the Embassy of Ireland for 'Conversations with the EU' on 22 July 2024! π The Ambassador engaged students on Singapore-EU and Singapore-Irish relations, and shared her thoughts about globalisation, digitisation of the economy, and sustainability. Students also discussed the importance of fostering cultural ties with friends from other countires, and given insights into working in the foreign service, as well as Irish influences that still remain in Singapore today! π Thank you Ambassador McGrath for visiting Pei Hwa π π₯

Our amazing primary 6 school students crushed it at the event, spending much effort in coding, creating, and collaborating on some incredible projects that tackled crafting Innovative solutions to tackle tomorrow's challenges!π₯

It was a big day for our Secondary 3 students as they received their NRIC! Many proudly held their new cards, marking a major milestone in their lives. They also had *a cohort discussion during CCE lesson* where they learnt more about their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Last Thursday, our Performing Arts Groups (PAGs) wowed us with their wonderful talents at PHiesta at the Republic Cultural Centre! ππΆ We were treated to a dazzling spectacle of music, singing, drama and dance, as the PAGs collaborated to create a showcase of Excellence β¨οΈThank you Pei Hwa-ians for your heart and hard work preparing for the performances! π₯π

Throwback to our Inter-Class Games held for our dear secondary 4s during Student Development Week! π Our Pei Hwa-ians had lotsa great fun bonding with their peers and participated in class volleyball games. It was an absolute joy to see Pei Hwa-ians cheer, collaborate and work together to compete for their classesπ A special shoutout goes to the game officials (Teachers ICβs, Sec 5βs and Sec 4 Umpires) for your support in managing the tournament π₯°
