Reading confidence grows when children feel supported, not pressured.
At home, even a few minutes of calm reading time can help your child feel more comfortable with words, sounds, and stories. The goal is not to get everything right at once, but to keep building confidence step by step.

🌟 Celebrating Collaboration & Inclusion at EdUHK! 🌟
Last month, our team from New Life Preschool had the privilege of presenting at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on “Enabling Success Together: Effective Collaboration for Preschoolers with Developmental Needs.”
Through our A.C.T.I.V.E. Collaboration Framework — Align Goals, Communicate Openly, Team Around the Child, Integrate Expertise, Validate Roles, Evaluate & Evolve — we shared how intentional structures and shared practices can transform support for children with developmental needs.
💡 Key takeaways:
● Stronger communication and role clarity across multidisciplinary teams
● Shared ownership in supporting each child’s unique strengths
● Replicable models for inclusive preschool ecosystems
We are proud to contribute to the global conversation on inclusion and holistic support, and we remain committed to building environments where every child can thrive.
Beyond the presentation, we were also blessed with the wonderful opportunity to visit two preschools in Hong Kong, where we exchanged insights with educators and witnessed inspiring practices in action.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums who guide, comfort, and encourage their children every single day.
Your love is felt in the little moments, through warm hugs, kind words, gentle reminders, and quiet sacrifices that help your child feel safe, loved, and supported.
Today, we celebrate you and the beautiful love that helps shape every little step, every growing heart, and every cherished memory.

Helping children learn to read doesn’t start with memorising, it starts with understanding sounds.
By recognising letter sounds, blending them into words, and practising regularly, children begin to make sense of how language works.
