Where to park your cash for higher yield in June 2026? 💸

I’ve been looking for the best places to park my cash in June.

Like many of you, I want the emergency cash in my liquidity pot to earn a decent yield, while remaining safe amid the uncertain market outlook.

This month, I saw that the best fixed deposit rates in Singapore have moved higher.

The Singapore 6-month T-bill yield has also bounced to the highest level in a few months.

On the other hand, savings account rates in Singapore have stayed low, while the Singapore Savings Bond (SSB) yield has remained steady.

With these changes, I have seen some sharing in the Beansprout community about the best places to leave our spare cash and earn passive income in Singapore.

In this article, I’ll break down some popular options such as T-bills, fixed deposits, Singapore Savings Bonds (SSBs), savings accounts and money market funds to find out where we can get the highest yields for the month. of June.

I’ll cover:

- The latest interest rates on fixed deposits, T-bills, SSBs, and money market funds
- Pros and cons of each option
- What I personally look at when deciding where to park my spare cash
- And the strategy I’m using right now to make my money work harder

In this Beansprout podcast episode, we sit down with Arthur Lang, Group CFO of Singtel, to find out why Singtel is no longer just a dividend stock, and how data centres, AI infrastructure, GPU-as-a-Service and even a potential REIT could become its next growth engines in the mid term.

Arthur explains how Singtel delivered its highest-ever ordinary dividend, achieved its Singtel28 (ST28) targets ahead of schedule, and improved its return on invested capital from around 7% in FY2022 to over 11% in FY2026. He also shares why Singtel is investing heavily in digital infrastructure, how it's positioning itself to benefit from the AI wave, and how management is exploring new ways to unlock value from Singtel’s assets.
