A shout-out to our KHS VSP for organising such a wonderful 2D1N camp to mark the end of the school term.

It was a memorable experience for both students and parents, filled with fun, laughter, and opportunities to bond with one another. The activities were thoughtfully planned, and everyone had a fantastic time participating in the various games.

A special highlight was the laser-tag game in the school hall, which was exciting, energetic, and thoroughly enjoyed by both children and adults alike!

We truly appreciate the time, effort, and dedication of all the parent volunteers and organisers who made this camp possible.
Thank you for creating such meaningful memories and for fostering a strong sense of community among our students and their families. The smiles on our children's faces said it all—thank you for giving them such a memorable way to end the term!

第二学段最后一周四天的小四双文化口语训练营，在欢笑与掌声中圆满结束。同学们在丰富多彩的活动中学习与成长，不仅提升了语言表达能力，也收获了勇气、自信与友谊。
口语训练营的内容丰富，包括口语训练、戏曲体验、导读活动、表演唱、华族舞蹈、艺术语言、团康游戏以及Fusion融合课程。同学们在活动中大胆表达、积极合作，体验中华文化的魅力，也在一次次练习与挑战中不断突破自己。从一开始的害羞与紧张，到后来能够自信开口、勇敢站上舞台，大家都展现了可喜的成长与进步。
最精彩的时刻是汇报表演，来自四所学校的修读双文化课程同学们齐聚一堂，他们穿上整齐的服装，怀着期待与兴奋走上舞台，用最认真的态度展现他们的几天学习成果。无论是生动有趣的对白、充满节奏感的表演唱，还是优美整齐的舞蹈表演，都赢得了现场热烈的掌声。舞台上的每一个动作、每一句台词，都凝聚着每个同学的努力与坚持，让大家看见了他们自信闪耀的一面。
短短四天的口语训练营虽然结束，但这段珍贵的经历，将成为同学们成长道路上一份难忘而美好的回忆。

What a truly resounding success for Hair for Hope 2026 at Kong Hwa School!

From our brave shavees to our supportive families, staff, students and alumni, the Kong Hwa family came together in an incredible show of courage, compassion and generosity. Together, we raised almost $40,000 in support of children and families impacted by childhood cancer.

Every shave, every donation and every cheer reminded us that no one journeys alone. Thank you for standing united for such a meaningful cause and for showing what it means to put values into action.

At Kong Hwa, we don’t just wear our values, we live them. 🧡

Our students enjoyed an engaging recess activity by students from Nanyang Junior College (NYJC) on physical and mental well-being.

We were also happy to welcome back Charlotte, an ex-KHS student, who returned as part of the NYJC team to share about their project and service learning journey.

Thank you to the NYJC students and our Peer Support Leaders for making the activity meaningful and enjoyable!

Hair for Hope 2026 @ Kong Hwa School 💛

One shave, one community, one shared journey of hope. This Friday, our brave shavees will take a bold step in support of children battling cancer. We are heartened by the strong support from our school community and hope to continue garnering more donations for this meaningful cause.

Families of shavees are warmly invited to join us as we come together to show compassion, courage and hope.

在此，我们诚挚邀请所有参与者的家人们一起来到现场，用陪伴传递关怀、勇气与希望。

二年级华文演艺课汇演圆满落幕！
短短六堂课里，二年级的孩子们从最初的懵懂与羞涩，到后来能够自信地站上舞台，呈现朗读、儿歌、唱歌、绕口令等精彩表演，实在令人欣喜与感动。👏
每一次练习、每一句台词、每一个动作，都凝聚着孩子们的认真与努力。虽然他们年纪小，却拥有无限的学习潜能；只要给予机会、鼓励与耐心，他们总能绽放出令人惊喜的光芒。🌟
舞台上的笑容、自信的眼神，以及彼此默契的合作，不仅展现了孩子们的成长，也让我们看见了学习华文最美好的模样。❤️

Pupils’ Performance Platform
It was heartening to witness numerous Kong Hwaians coming forward to showcase their talents at our Pupil’s Performance Platform during recess in Term 1 & 2. From live drawings and musical performances to telling riddles and showing off incredible Ultraman moves- our students are lighting up the platform during recess!
A huge shoutout to our amazing music teachers who are right there, facilitating and cheering our students on. It's a wonderful space for our pupils to step up, express their creativity and build their confidence.
