Throwback to Racial Harmony Day 2026 🇸🇬 | Our People, Our Tapestry

What makes Singapore special? Our diversity, shared values and the many threads that weave us together as one. ❤️

From the beautiful melodies of the Guzheng Ensemble 🎶 and vibrant rhythms of the mridangam, a traditional Indian percussion instrument 🥁, to our P3 students’ Conversational Chinese and Malay presentation and our choir’s rendition of Little Red Dot 🎤 — we celebrated the cultures that make Singapore uniquely ours.

The Ethnic Costume Parade 👗 brought colour and culture to life, while our Parent Support Group, partners and canteen vendors added to the festivities with engaging activities and tastes of Singapore’s diverse food heritage. 😋

Together, we celebrate our diversity, strengthen our bonds and build a Singapore where everyone belongs. 🇸🇬✨

Tomorrow, AGPS will commemorate Racial Harmony Day 2026.

This year’s theme, “Our People, Our Tapestry,” celebrates the rich diversity of cultures, traditions and experiences that make Singapore home. Through meaningful learning experiences, students will deepen their understanding and appreciation of how racial harmony is reflected in our everyday interactions and strengthened through the shared values, experiences and collective efforts that unite us as one people.

Together, let us continue to cherish our multicultural heritage and play our part in building an inclusive and harmonious Singapore.

A big thank you to all our Anchorlites and families for participating in our Term 2 Screen-Free Weekend! Through recycled crafts, meaningful conversations, and quality family time, we saw how creativity and connection flourish when we step away from screens.
