Yishun Town Secondary School (YTSS) is a co-educational government autonomous secondary school in Yishun, Singapore.

YTSS was formally established in January 1986 with Mr Lim Yam Meng as the founding Principal.

You know the theme music from Super Mario and Genshin Impact, but have you heard them performed live by a Chinese Orchestra? That's exactly what happened at SCOtify, where Yishun Town Secondary School's Secondary 2 students, along with students from other schools, curated their own playlist from different musical cultures – including their favourite video game music – for the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) to perform live! Besides the SCO, MOE and National Arts Council Singapore (NAC) have also been collaborating with partners like Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO), Metropolitan Festival Orchestra (MFO) and The Esplanade Co Ltd (TECL) to progressively roll out Performing Arts-Based Learning (PABL), a core learning experience in the lower secondary Music curriculum, to all secondary schools to deepen students' appreciation of Singapore's arts and cultural heritage. #OurSchoolStories 28/10/2025
