Stop the “sounds right” habit. 🖋
By mid-year, most students already know the rules.
But when the questions get tricky, they fall back on instinct—and that’s where marks are lost.
At Prologue, we train the thinking behind the answer.
No guesswork. Just clear, repeatable logic.
The June Edit is our mid-year lineup designed to sharpen how students read, write, and respond under pressure.
Choose your focus:
🦔 P1 & P2 — The Great Story Adventure (Creative Writing)
🐇 P3 & P4 — The Detective’s Desk (Comprehension & Writing)
🦁 P5 & P6 — PSLE Strategy, 2025 Prelim Series & Oral Masterclass
🦅 Sec 1–4 — Literary & Exam Strategy Intensives
Small groups. Direct feedback. Real progress.
Seats are limited for each run.

"Is the PSLE Oral Exam getting harder?"
It’s the question that starts appearing in every P6 parent chat around this time of year.
There is a common myth that Oral is down to the "luck of the draw" - that if you get a "difficult" topic, your AL1 is gone. Because of this, many students spend months trying to memorise model answers for every possible topic under the sun.
But here is the reality: Examiners aren't looking for a perfect, rehearsed script. They are looking for a student who can actually think. 🧠
They want to see if your child can handle a follow-up question, give a reasoned opinion, and connect a topic to their own life without freezing.
At Prologue, we don’t do memorisation drills. Instead, we use answer frameworks (like TEA+, TACO, and CAKE 🍰) to give students a structure for their own thoughts.
We provide the vocabulary through sample responses, but we teach the student how to build the argument themselves. It’s the difference between a child who sounds like a robot, and a child who sounds like an articulate, independent thinker. 🗣✨

Our high-intensity practice. Choose from 5 to 20 days of daily practice to build momentum and apply frameworks to high-frequency topics.

Every strong reader starts with a single page. 📖
Introducing The First Chapter: Prologue’s curated reading sessions for early learners.
We skip the rote memorisation. Instead, we turn reading into a hands-on adventure to spark curiosity and build early literacy skills. This March, our sessions go beyond just looking at the pictures. Through active learning, your child will become a “Sound Spy” and an “Emotion Hunter.”
Children won’t just sit and listen; they step inside the stories to build essential logic and literacy foundations:
- Chicka Chicka Boom Boom: Practicing pattern logic and alphabetical sequencing through high-energy “letter rescues”.
- Dear Zoo: Building inference and classification skills by evaluating which animals make the “just right” pet.
- The Color Monster: Organising abstract ideas and decoding the “visual language” of emotional vocabulary.
Every session is designed to link phonics, descriptive language, and cause-and-effect reasoning to the stories they love.
Parents, you are invited too!
Experience our teaching methodology first-hand in an exclusive 45-minute discovery session. You will participate in a guided parent-child activity to see exactly how we scaffold learning for preschoolers.
Current Availability:
📍 Eastgate: Final 4 slots available
📍 Beauty World Plaza: Limited slots available
To maintain a high-focus environment, we cap each session at 8 students. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Writer’s Desk remains quiet for now. 🕯
We recently introduced a vintage typewriter to our space as a tool meant to spark curiosity, creativity, and a quiet respect for the craft of writing.
While many treated it with great care, we noticed it also being used more for noise than meaning. In these moments, we choose not to rush into replacement or reprimand.
Instead, we turn the silence into a lesson.
To write is to create meaning. To mash keys is just to make noise. Learning the difference is part of growing as a writer and as a person.
The empty desk is not a punishment. It is an invitation to reflect on how we care for shared tools, and how intention matters as much as output.
Learning extends beyond academics. We believe in stewardship, thoughtfulness, and respect, which are values that last much longer than any machine.
We look forward to the day the click-clack returns, richer and more meaningful than before.

"The most pressing task is to teach people how to learn."
We love this quote by Peter Drucker. It reminds us that education isn't just about downloading facts. It's about building an engine for curiosity.
The goal isn't just to clear the next exam. It’s to build the confidence to handle a world that changes every day.
To be ready for the questions that haven't been asked yet.
Learning is a lifelong process. We’re just the opening chapter.

Seven letters that change the world.
'Curious'
It looks like a simple writing exercise. But look closer at the focus. The erasing, the rewriting, the care.
Curiosity is the engine of all learning. So we don't mind the erasing or the rewriting. In fact, we love it. It means they are taking the time to get it right. 🌿
