The students of South View Primary School (@southviens) surprised me with a wonderful performance of Singapura, Sunny Island 🇸🇬 on the ukulele, and I even got to play along on the Triangle! 😊 (Which is the only instrument I've learnt how to play...) [South View Primary School 80th Anniversary Celebration] 👕 T-shirt Design Competition

We are excited to kick off the first of the many exciting activities for South View Primary School’s 80th Anniversary celebration with a T-shirt design competition! This is your chance to showcase your creativity and be part of something special as we commemorate this milestone.
We invite all creative minds to submit original designs that capture the spirit of our anniversary’s theme – Celebrating Memories, Creating Dreams. The winning designs will be featured on exclusive anniversary T-shirts, making this not only a creative challenge but also a chance to leave a lasting mark on our celebration., Let your imagination shine and join us in making this anniversary celebration unforgettable!

Theme: Celebrating Memories, Creating Dreams

Design Dimensions: Maximum size of the design: 30 cm wide by 40 cm tall

Submission Format: PDF (this is to preserve the dimensions and colors of the design)

Submission Deadline: 31 January 2025

Eligibility: Open to all alumni of Nam San, Ama Keng and South View Primary School

[Annual General Meeting 2024] The South View Primary School Alumni Association Annual General Meeting 2024 was held on 1 June 2024. Different from previous year, we had an election for all the EXCO members, including the Honorary Auditors. Also, we presented the Achievement Awards to our members' children as an enouragement for their achievement in academic performance. We would like to thank the members who made time to attend this event. Thank you🙂

[SVPSAA Cohesion Event] Yong Tau Foo Making
On 4 May 24, we had our first cohesion event in 2024. The turnouts were amazing. We decided to have Yong Tau Foo Making because it reminds us of our asian food culture. The activity allowed the members and their children to see the whole process of YTF making; from making the fish paste to cooking the stuffed vegetables, tofu and fish beancurds. We were happy to see that our members and their family have a wonderful time. Some of the participants have reunited with classmates from the same cohort😄

[Announcement] Annual General Meeting 2024

The Annual General Meeting for 2024 will be held on 1 June 2024, from 8.30am onwards, at South View Primary School. The notice of AGM 2024 and other related information have been sent via email on 30 Apr 24. If any member did not receive the notification, kindly drop me a private message and I will contact you shortly.

SVPSAA held its AGM on 15 July 2023. It is heartening to see new faces at the event. The members' support is what keep us moving forward and giving us strength to continue doing meaningful things for the school, students and alumni🙂 We hope to see more members attending the event and your support mean a lot to the EXCO team. Thank you ex-EXCO members (Mr Chew Eng Thiam, Mr Goh Thim Seng, Cindy and Siew Ling) for attending the event - Sebastian😁
