Meet Instructor Joel!

Joel is the founder of Guitar Movement SG, established with the vision of providing focused guitar education in Singapore.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts and has over a decade of teaching experience, guiding more than 100 students of all ages in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and ukulele. His expertise spans a wide range of styles, including pop, blues, funk, rock, and metal.

As an experienced performer, Joel has performed at venues such as The Star Theatre, Hard Rock Coliseum, and Esplanade, with career highlights including opening for internationally acclaimed rock bands Scorpions, Whitesnake, and Lovebites.

Beyond teaching, Joel oversees Guitar Movement SG’s curriculum, instructor development, and school operations, ensuring every student receives a structured, professional, and high-quality learning experience.

Meet instructor Andrew!

Andrew is a guitarist for 10 years and has been playing for church and has experiences in music CCAs.

He is an easy going and encouraging instructor and his aim is to bring learning interesting and relatable to those who are willing to learn, no matter the skill level!
