Big thanks to for following up on last year’s APAC Medical Advisory Board Meeting for Filler Vascular Complications and for kindly sponsoring the initiative to come up with a retinal vascular complication E-kit. This E-kit contains an attached step-by-step protocol and all the essential medications for the attending physician to initiate immediate management of filler-related visual loss prior to transferring the patient to a tertiary institution for definitive care. Our faculty conducted an Ellansé Training course for a group of enthusiastic local doctors today. A Pan-facial approach covering both needle and cannula techniques was demonstrated. Upper face and forehead injection techniques was also covered during the session. Good feedback was given overall by the participants. Many thanks to Sinclair College for the Ellanse Trainer Accreditation Award as well!

was recently appointed as an official scientific partner together with and , for an inaugural APAC Medical Advisory Board Meeting for Filler Vascular Complication Management, held in Kuala Lumpur on 12 Nov 2023. and were the faculty board members present at the meeting and contributed towards the development of a consensus with regards to the management protocol and clinic emergency kit.

Our faculty had the honour and privilege to be appointed by PharmaResearch to be the KOL in charge of leading the official launch of Rejuran Chile held on 12 Oct 2023 in Santiago, Chile. This was also PharmaResearch’s first launch event in South America. The day started with a Train-The-Trainer session for 6 local KOLs. This was followed by the official launch in the evening where he gave a talk on the use of polynucleotides in Aesthetic practice and conducted a live-demo with the help of a local KOL. The night ended with cocktails where we had the opportunity to interact with the enthusiastic and lively Chilean doctors who attended the event.

Our faculty was recently invited to be a speaker at the inaugural Rejuran Clinical Exchange (Thailand 🇹🇭 and Singapore 🇸🇬) held on 29 Sep 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr Ngiam shared his original technique called Selective Dermal Remodelling Technique, SDRT, which uses Rejuran for facial contouring and lifting. It was a very vibrant session with experts from both countries exchanging knowledge and injection tips with regards to the use of Rejuran in their clinical practice. The event was well attended and good feedback was given overall.

Our faculty was invited by EpPlus Group to be a moderator and speaker at the inaugural Sola Medica Congress 2023. He spoke on the topic “Aesthefill in combination with EBDs for scars”. The event was well attended with over 400 medical professionals in attendance.

Our faculty was invited by PharmaResearch as their Global KOL to give a presentation at the ACDS conference held in Seoul, South Korea from 19-21 May 2023. Fellow Global KOL speakers included Dr Michael Kim, Dr Atchima Suwanchinda and Dr Nark-Kyoung Rho. It was a very vibrant session with many insights and innovative techniques shared on the injection of salmon DNA polynucleotides. shared an original technique - Selective Dermal Remodelling Technique, SDRT on the use of PN for facial contouring and lifting. The session was very well attended and great feedback was given by the participants overall. Till we meet again at next year’s ACDS!

Our faculty from the Department of Aesthetic Oculoplastic Surgery, Dr Stephanie Young was recently conducted a training on 3 May 2023 for a group of local doctors on the use of Morpheus 8 by Inmode. Dr Young discussed the technology behind Morpheus 8, a fractional microneedling radiofrequency and subdermal adipose remodeling device. She demonstrated on live subjects how Morpheus 8 can be used for the rejuvenation of the periorbital region, face and neck.

Dr Siew Tuck Wah
Dr Siew is a familiar face in Singapore, with 16 years of experience in Aesthetic Medicine. He is regarded as one of the experts and leaders in the field, and regularly invited to speak at local and international conferences. He has a special interest in the use of injectable treatments for facial sculpting, anti-aging and rejuvenation with natural outcomes. Dr Siew is a key opinion leader (KOL) for several Injectables, fillers, biostimulators, and energy-based devices.
Besides seeing patients, Dr Siew is equally passionate about sharing and teaching. Through his website (drsiew.com) and social media platforms, he provides an easily accessible and reliable platform for the public to understand medical aesthetic procedures and trends. He also devotes time to training doctors in energy-based devices and facial injection techniques, both locally and regionally. In doing so, he hopes to contribute to improving the safety and practice standards of anti-aging medicine.
Dr Siew is the medical director and founder of Radium Medical Aesthetics, where he brings his practice philosophies to life – emphasis on patient rapport, service excellence, safety, integrity, kindness and professionalism.
Many also know Dr Siew as a forceful animal welfare advocate. He co-founded SOSD (formerly “Save Our Street Dogs”), one of Singapore’s largest animal rescue charities, and is a driver of numerous animal welfare initiatives and legislative changes over the last decade. SOSD sterilizes & rescues homeless & abandoned dogs and integrates them back into society via community initiatives (www.sosd.org.sg). In 2014, he was conferred the Junior Chamber International (JCI) award for Humanitarian and Voluntary Leadership in recognition of his contributions in charity work.
