As the founder of Musik Artz Studio, parents often tell me,

Can I let you in on a little secret?

I didnโ€™t naturally run to the piano after school.

I loved playing.

I didnโ€™t like homework.

And honestlyโ€ฆ I didnโ€™t like practising piano either.

My dad reminded me almost every day.

Back then, I didnโ€™t understand why he was so persistent. Sometimes I probably thought he was being annoying. ๐Ÿ˜…

But he never gave up.

Because of his love, guidance and discipline, I kept going.

๐ŸŒฑ ๐‹๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐›๐š๐œ๐ค ๐ง๐จ๐ฐโ€ฆ

Today, looking back as an adult, I finally understand why.

Piano gave me so much more than music.

It taught me:
โ€ข Perseverance
โ€ข Discipline
โ€ข Responsibility
โ€ข Confidence

Eventually, I didnโ€™t just learn pianoโ€ฆ

I grew to love it. โค๏ธ

I meet children just like I once was.

So whenever parents tell me,

Because I know that child could very well become someone who is grateful one day.

Many parents believe that one long practice session every week is enough.

In reality, 15 minutes of focused practice each day is often much more effective than practising for 2 hours once a week.

Batam Piano Week Highlights โ›ด๏ธ๐ŸŽนโœจ

Batam Piano Week is a meaningful music camp where students had the opportunity to connect and exchange with fellow piano students from Batam๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ and other students from Singapore, take part in inspiring masterclasses ๐ŸŽผ and workshops ๐ŸŽถ, and perform in a Gala Concert ๐ŸŒŸ to conclude the camp experience.

Our students had an amazing time learning, growing, and making music together โค๏ธ It was not only educational, but also a refreshing and memorable experience for them ๐Ÿ˜Š

A huge thank you to the organisers for all the hard work and effort behind the scenes ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Kudos to and ๐ŸŽนโœจ for putting together such a well-organised and meaningful event!
