🎨🚲 Raffles Milano x Lime at Milan Design Week 2025

At Milan Design Week 2025, students from Raffles Milano collaborated with Lime, world's largest shared electric vehicle company, to launch a limited-edition collection of electric bicycles and scooters designed by Raffles students.

Inspired by Urban Sustainability, students designed unique illustrations that transform Lime vehicles into moving pieces of urban art. Around 100 bikes and scooters will be available across the Porta Venezia Design District, bringing creativity directly onto the streets of Milan.

The project was developed through Raffles Milano’s 72 Hour Project, a signature learning experience at Raffles Milano where students take on an intensive three-day design challenge with real industry partners. In this case, students were challenged to reinterpret Lime’s vehicles as design objects that integrate naturally with Milan’s urban landscape.

This collaboration demonstrates how Raffles students gain real-world experience through industry partnerships, working on projects that bring their creativity beyond the classroom and into global design events.

Theo khảo sát việc làm tại Singapore năm 2023, 90% sinh viên Raffles có việc làm trong 6 tháng sau khi tốt nghiệp.

Raffles participated in the BVIS Study Abroad Fair and provided direct consultation for students interested in creative, business, and technology disciplines.

Raffles has a global network of campuses across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Cambodia, India, and Italy. Students can begin their studies at one campus and transfer to another within the network to complete an international degree.

SINH VIÊN RAFFLES NGÀNH FASHION MARKETING MANG ĐẾN TRẢI NGHIỆM MUA SẮM SÁNG TẠO CHO ONE WORLD DUTY FREE

One World Duty Free (ODF) là thương hiệu miễn thuế đa kênh đầu tiên của Singapore, với hệ thống bán lẻ trải rộng khắp châu Á. Được xây dựng trên nền tảng công nghệ hiện đại và tư duy đổi mới, ODF mang đến những trải nghiệm mua sắm tiện lợi, độc đáo với các sản phẩm thuộc nhóm Làm đẹp, Chăm sóc sức khỏe, Rượu mạnh và Rượu vang từ các thương hiệu hàng đầu thế giới.

Vừa qua, các sinh viên ngành Fashion Marketing của Raffles Singapore đã có cơ hội tham gia một dự án thực tế cùng ODF. Nhiệm vụ của các bạn là thiết kế bộ sản phẩm bao gồm thú nhồi bông, túi nhựa PVC trong suốt, cùng các vật phẩm nhận diện thương hiệu như decal dán hoặc hộp đèn trang trí, dành riêng cho phòng trưng bày chính của ODF tại chân vòng quay Singapore Flyer.

Điểm đặc biệt là các thiết kế phải truyền tải được bản sắc văn hóa và hình ảnh đặc trưng của Singapore – từ động thực vật bản địa, kiến trúc, cho đến phong cách sống – sao cho vừa gần gũi với người dân, vừa thu hút được khách du lịch quốc tế.

Kết quả chung cuộc:

RAFFLES FASHION MARKETERS CREATED EXCLUSIVE RETAIL EXPERIENCES FOR ONE WORLD DUTY-FREE

One World Duty Free (ODF) is Singapore’s first home-grown omnichannel duty-free brand with an expansive reach across Asia. Powered by innovation and advanced technology, ODF delivers seamless, curated shopping experiences across categories such as Beauty, Wellness, Spirits, and Wines, featuring some of the world’s most recognized brands.

As part of an exciting real-world project, Raffles Fashion Marketing students were challenged to conceptualize and design key promotional items for ODF’s flagship gallery at the base of the iconic Singapore Flyer. Their task included creating a plush toy, a transparent PVC bag, and branding elements such as decals or lightbox signage. Each design was required to reflect the spirit of Singapore—drawing inspiration from local wildlife, flora, architecture, and cultural identity—to resonate with both tourists and locals.

Among the standout participants, Namanick Kree secured 1st place, while SUNG Pin-I was awarded 2nd place. Congratulations also to finalists Valerie Dinatha, Celine Halim, Regina Stella Naftali, Senanayake Dona Venuki Imanya, and Sylvia for their outstanding work.

A special thank-you to Mr. Danny Lim, Director of Merchandising, Operations & Logistics at ODF, for presenting the awards and supporting the development of young creatives.

This project exemplifies Raffles’ commitment to industry-led education and highlights how Raffles empowers students to realise their full potential through practical exposure and creative innovation.

Giáo dục Thiết kế gắn liền với thực tiễn nghề nghiệp

CATHERINE SANTOSA THẮNG LỚN TẠI SIJE 2025 (SINGAPORE JEWELLERY DESIGN AWARD 2025)

Chúc mừng Catherine Santosa, sinh viên ngành Thiết kế Trang sức của Raffles, đã xuất sắc giành Giải Nhì hạng mục Fresh Facet tại Giải thưởng Thiết kế Trang sức Singapore 2025, trong khuôn khổ Triển lãm Trang sức Quốc tế Singapore (SIJE).

Bộ sưu tập “Fantasia” của Catherine đã thật sự gây ấn tượng với ban giám khảo nhờ ý tưởng sáng tạo độc đáo, câu chuyện truyền tải cảm xúc và kỹ thuật chế tác tinh xảo. Giải thưởng danh giá này được trao bởi Bà Low Yen Ling, Bộ trưởng cao cấp Bộ Công Thương & Bộ Văn hóa, Cộng đồng và Thanh niên Singapore, cùng Ông Ho Nai Chuen, BBM, Chủ tịch Hiệp hội Trang sức Singapore tại lễ khai mạc ngày 10/7/2025.

Cũng trong sự kiện SIJE 2025, các sinh viên ngành Thiết kế Trang sức Raffles đã có cơ hội trình diễn những thiết kế nổi bật của mình thông qua hợp tác cùng các thương hiệu danh tiếng như Caratell và Calenthy.

Chiến thắng này không chỉ thể hiện tài năng và sự nỗ lực của Catherine, mà còn là minh chứng cho chất lượng đào tạo và môi trường học tập thực tiễn mà Raffles Singapore luôn nỗ lực mang đến cho sinh viên.

A PROUD WIN FOR RAFFLES JEWELLERY DESIGNER CATHERINE SANTOSA AT SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL JEWELRY EXPO (SIJE) 2025

Raffles Jewellery Designer, Catherine SANTOSA, won Second Prize in the Fresh Facet category at the Singapore Jewellery Design Award 2025, held during the Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE) 2025.



Catherine’s winning collection, “Fantasia,” stood out for its creative concept, storytelling, and craftsmanship — earning her well-deserved recognition on a national platform. The award was presented by Ms. LOW Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth alongside Mr. HO Nai Chuen, BBM, President of the Singapore Jewellers Association at the opening ceremony on 10 Jul 2025.



As part of SIJE 2025, Raffles Jewellery Designers also showcased their designs in collaboration with our industry partners, Caratell and Calenthy by Mr. Sudat BAJRACHARYA.



This achievement highlights the creativity, hard work, and professionalism of Raffles Jewellery Designers, and reflects the strong mentorship and industry collaboration that Raffles Singapore continues to foster.
