Spent the morning making healthy gluten-free cookies for my kids . Sneaked in some carrots as they tend to reject veggies during meal times. They are really simple to make and much healthier then store bought ones loaded with sugar. And the kids loved it!

Are you still finishing up your moon cakes from mid-autumn festival ? Take it slow and easy if you can .

A typical lotus seed paste mooncake with one salted egg yolk contains roughly 790 calories per cake. If it has two salted egg yolks, the calorie count increases to roughly 860

Eating an entire mooncake takes up almost half of your daily quota of calories. 😱

My client’s lunch ! Is oyster omelette healthy ? It consists mostly of starchy rice flour batter and eggs which are low in nutrients apart from protein. Oyster omelette is high in calories and fat – one serving contains 645 calories and 49.3g of fat.
That aside , oyster omelette is one of my favourite hawker dishes . So yes eat it , but in moderation. And I always always share this dish with family and friends

Is kaya toast a healthy breakfast?
2 slices of white toast , 2 spoons of kaya, 10g of butter & 2 boiled eggs amount to a total of 447kcal, 41g carbs (inc. 7g sugar),18g fat, 18g protein

Add a Kopi (coffee with condensed milk), that’s an extra ~120kcal

It’s quite high in calories

How to make it healthier :

💗 Go for Kopi O kosong instead (5kcal).
💗 Share the toast with a friend
💗 Eggs are nutritious so don’t skip it
💗 If possible, replace white bread with whole meal for extra fibre

What’s one of the healthiest meal you can have ? It’s Yong tau foo. Here in Malaysia we have a restaurant that makes its fishball from scratch with no added starch or preservatives. Yummy 😋 remember to load up on the veggies 🥕 🥗 🥦

Is salmon healthy? It's fatty right? however the fat is completely healthy and good for the heart and skin. My favourite lunch :)
