🌏 Strengthening global partnerships through science 🌏

Faculty members from our department recently participated in the inaugural Ningbo Spring Symposium on Oncology & Immunology, held at Ningbo University, China.

The symposium brought together leading researchers from institutions across Asia, Europe, and beyond to share advances in cancer immunology, immunotherapy, microbiome-host interactions, mechanobiology, infectious diseases, and translational medicine. Representing were our department's members A/Prof Kevin Tan, Prof Paul MacAry, and A/Prof Zhang Yongliang, together with A/Prof Gan Yunn Hwen (from the Department of Biochemistry) who were part of an international panel of experts in presenting their latest research. This collaborative meeting reflects the strong presence of our institution at the meeting. πŸ”¬πŸ”

Beyond the scientific discussions, the symposium provided valuable opportunities to strengthen partnerships between NUS and leading institutions in China. A collaboration agreement signed between Ningbo University Medical School and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine will further support joint research, academic exchanges, and future scientific initiatives. 🀝🏼

We are proud of our faculty's contributions to advancing immunology research and fostering international collaborations that accelerate scientific discovery and translation!
