On 28 May 2026, school gathered as one family to celebrate Founderโs Day with a Eucharistic Celebration in honour of our founder, Blessed Nicolas Barrรฉ.
Through the hymns we sang, the Word of God we listened to, and the prayers we offered, we were reminded of Blessed Barrรฉโs mission of faith, simplicity and service to others.
Leading up to this celebration, we were blessed to have Dr Margaret Lee share with us the rich history of the CHIJ schools. She also reflected on this yearโs theme, โListening to the Cry of the Earth and the Poor,โ reminding us that our faith calls us not only to pray, but also to care deeply for creation and for those in need around us.
It was a beautiful morning filled with joy and community spirit, a reminder that as an IJ family, we continue to live out the values of being Simple in Virtue, Steadfast in Duty.

What a remarkable journey it has been for our Netball Senior Stompers!
Throughout this season, the team has performed phenomenally well, far surpassing what many thought was possible. Their fighting spirit, determination, and resilience have been the driving forces behind this incredible achievement.
Looking back to when they first came together as a team in Primary 5 and seeing who they are today, their growth has been truly inspiring โ from babies in the game to giants on the court. Their transformation is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and unwavering belief in one another.
A huge shout-out to the team for their dedication, commitment, passion, and self-belief, all of which made it possible for them to achieve 2nd place in the NSG Senior Netball Championship. This is no small feat, and each of them should be immensely proud of how far they have come.
More importantly, this victory is only one chapter of their journey. We hope they will continue to carry this spirit of excellence as they take on their upcoming PSLE and the many challenges that lie ahead. May they always remember that with courage, discipline, and belief in themselves, they can overcome obstacles and achieve great things in all their future endeavours.
Congratulations once again, Senior Stompers. You have made the school proud, and your legacy will continue to inspire those who follow in your footsteps.

We are proud to celebrate our 2026 Caring Teacher Award recipients - Mrs Melissa Lee, Ms Yeo Yanyan, Mrs Clarissa Pang, Mrs Evelyn Zhong, and Mr Iskandar! ๐
These remarkable educators go far beyond the classroom, pouring their hearts into every lesson, every encouraging word, and every quiet act of kindness. They see their students not just as learners, but as individuals to be uplifted, believed in, and truly cared for.
In everything they do, they embody the CHIJ values of Truth, Justice, Freedom, and Love. They teach with honesty and integrity, champion every child's right to learn and grow, create safe spaces where students feel free to try and fail and try again, and above all, lead with a love that leaves a lasting mark on every life they touch.

What a meaningful storytelling session on 9 May 2026 by a group of our students from the Malay, Chinese and Tamil Language classes!
Our Primary 4 Chinese students, Primary 5 Malay students, and Primary 5 Tamil students confidently delivered expressive storytelling performances in their respective Mother Tongue Languages, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm and creativity.
This marks our 4th year of collaboration with the National Library Board (NLB), and we are grateful for this continued partnership that provides authentic platforms for students to build confidence and develop a love for languages beyond the classroom.
A heartfelt thank you to our students, teachers, and parents for your support and encouragement in making this event a meaningful and memorable experience.

Our school is incredibly proud of six of our Primary 6 choristers who had the honour of representing us at the recent Kingโs Day celebration at the Ambassadorโs Residence on 23 April 2026.
Held in celebration of the birthday of King Willem-Alexander, Kingโs Day is the Netherlandsโ biggest national event. Our students were privileged to be part of this special occasion in Singapore.
Together with students from other schools, they performed the Singapore National Anthem, contributing to a meaningful moment that symbolised friendship and unity between the two nations. ๐ท
The event was graced by Senior Minister of State Zaqy Mohamad, making the experience even more memorable for our girls.
We are also deeply thankful to the parents for their unwavering support. It was heartening that they were able to attend the event and witness this proud moment alongside their daughters.
The girls displayed confidence, poise, and dedication in representing the school on such a special platform. Well done! ๐๐ถ
