A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Parents!

In term 3, from 25 June to 13 July 2024, our Sec 4 Express Study Club students have been spurred on in their prelim exam preparation with healthy afternoon snacks, all thanks to the incredible generosity of our parents.

A big thank you to all the parents who provided a variety of popular and nutritious snacks like pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, fruits, and more. 🍕🍔🥪🍎 Your support has kept our 50 hardworking students energized and motivated during this crucial period.

We are also deeply grateful for the generous donations towards the encouragement packs (pencil cases filled with snacks) and thoughtful graduation gifts—photo frames with heartfelt notes—for our 8 classes of Sec 4 Express and 18 classes of Year 6 graduating students.

A special thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who worked tirelessly to pack and put together a total of 678 encouragement packs and graduation gifts. Your dedication and hard work behind the scenes have made this initiative possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Your generosity, time, and effort are truly appreciated, and we are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive parent community. Thank you for helping us make these moments special for our students!

Thank you once again!

ACSplash 2024: A Splashing Success!

On 21 May 2024, the AC family came together to celebrate the end of Semester 1 at our annual school event, ACSplash! This joyous occasion was marked by the vibrant presence of Year 1-6 students and teachers, all enjoying a day filled with fun and camaraderie.

The Parent Support Group (PSG) had an absolute blast manning six food and drinks stalls offering a delightful variety of popular treats; bubble tea, ice cream, snacks from Old Chang Kee, Ramly Burger, Mala Popcorn Chicken and Churros, that added to the festive atmosphere. We were thrilled to see everyone indulging in the delicious offerings and sharing smiles over refreshing drinks and tasty snacks.

The event was packed with exciting activities at various booths, including bracelet making, a photo booth, fun games, face painting, and mini music performances. The highlight of the day was the concert, where our talented students showcased their musical talent, leaving the audience grooving and singing along.

ACSplash 2024 was more than just an event; it was a celebration of our AC family's unity and spirit.

The PSG would like to take this opportunity to thank the enthusiastic and energetic parent volunteers who helped to man the food stalls and most importantly the generous parents who sponsored some of the food items.

We look forward to many more such celebrations in the future! 🌟

Dear Parents,

What an enlightening Wednesday evening it was at our parent self-care talk led by the humorous and insightful Mr. James Satchy, Family for Life Educator and Head of TOUCH Parenting. With his engaging presentation on "A P.R.O in Parent Self-Care," we were reminded of the importance of prioritizing our well-being amidst the joys and challenges of parenting.

Mr. Satchy's acronym "A.P.R.O" served as a guiding light, helping us navigate through stressors and triggers. His message resonated deeply as we learned to take care of ourselves first, knowing that it positively impacts our ability to care for our children.

During dinner, we had the pleasure of mingling and sharing stories with over 60 fellow parents and senior school administration in person as compared to online events in the past few years.

The evening concluded with a lively Q&A session, where parents seized the opportunity to ask Mr. Satchy questions on parenting, leaving us feeling empowered and inspired.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the event. Remember, when you take care of yourself, you initiate change within yourself, which ultimately leads to positive change in your family dynamics.

Warmest regards,
Parent Support Group

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent Kopi Morning organized by the ACS(I) Parent Support Group on 5 March! With an incredible turnout of 137 parents, it was a fun occasion filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections over breakfast.

What made this year's event even more special was the participation of parents from across all levels, spanning Years 1 to 6. It was the first time that parents gathered in school for a delightful time of food and fellowship, strengthening the bonds within our ACS(I) community.

We were honored to have Principal Mr. Koh and Deputy Principal Mdm Yong grace the occasion, inspiring parents to remain actively engaged in their children's educational journey. Their presence and words of encouragement further emphasized the importance of parental involvement in shaping our students' futures.

Throughout the morning, parents enjoyed engaging conversations, shared experiences, and bonded over steaming cups of Kopi and Teh and delicious refreshments.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a resounding success. Your presence and participation truly made a difference, and we look forward to many more opportunities to come together as a supportive community.

With gratitude,
