🌍✨ Happy Earth Day!
To mark the occasion, we dove into Endangered Species — exploring the animals that need our help, and reflecting on what we can do to protect our planet.
We asked ourselves: Why is Planet Earth so amazing? What can we do to save Planet Earth? What are we grateful for?
Here’s what our little warriors had to say:
Planet Earth is so amazing because
“Earth is carrying us.”
We can:
“Use less paper and toilet rolls (My mummy told me they are from trees.)”
“Take submarine to pick up trash from under the sea!”
“Grow plants … for fresh air!”
We are grateful to Earth for:
“For making space for us to live on Earth.”
“For making more space for forests and trees.”
🥰 And one child said it best: “Today is Earth’s birthday!”
So from us to Earth — may you be happy. May you be free from pollution, deforestation, and climate change. 💚

This week during Bilingual Project Learning time, our school artist Ms Hui Hua introduced clay to our 4 to 5 year olds. Clay is a wonderful new material to deepen the conversation around our current project theme: cooking.
We began by gathering ideas together. The children shared the foods they imagined making, and we sketched them out on the whiteboard, talking through the shapes, textures, and little details that make each one special.
Then came the hands-on exploration. The children dove into the clay, rolling it into balls, stretching it into strips, pinching, punching, poking, pressing, and cutting. All that playful experimentation was intentional: warming up their hands and their imagination before the real creating began. Nurturing little artists means giving them time to build a relationship with the material too, so that proficiency and mastery can follow naturally along the way.
What matters most in a session like this isn’t the end product. A piece of sushi or a chicken nugget that doesn’t quite look the part? That’s perfectly fine, and entirely beside the point. Our goal is to nurture each child’s confidence in the act of creating, to let their curiosity lead, and to give their artistry the space to flow and flourish.
This was just the beginning. We can’t wait to share what our warriors bring to life in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned!

Nurturing a connection to nature lies at the heart of the Blue Lion warrior journey. This morning, our playgroup and early nursery little warriors spent time tending to our edible garden — digging, scooping soil into pots, and carefully selecting seeds to plant.
“Why can’t we plant many seeds together?” asked S, age 2, after nestling her seeds into her pot. We treasure these moments of curiosity — every question a growing mind reaching out to understand the world. And it is through these small, wonder-filled moments that a lifelong love of nature quietly takes root.

A strong preschool experience is built on relationships. The bond between teacher and child forms the foundation for confidence and curiosity. This showcase introduces another dedicated member of our team who embodies patience, professionalism, and passion.
At Blue Lion, we invest in educators who believe in lifelong learning and child-centered growth. Their dedication shapes not only lessons in the classroom, but the character and resilience of every young learner entrusted to us.

Not every hero stands in the classroom. Some begin their day in the kitchen, preparing warm, nourishing meals that fuel our children’s learning and play. Our uncle takes pride in ensuring every dish is thoughtfully prepared and balanced.
Through food, he offers more than nutrition. He provides comfort, consistency, and care in every serving — supporting each child’s growth in a quiet but meaningful way every single day.
