πβ¨ Scouts Job Week 2026 is here! Our Scouts rolled up their sleeves and got to work, washing cars belonging to school leaders, teachers and Scout parents π§½πͺ£.
Armed with rags, sponges and lots of teamwork, they gave every task their best effort while learning the value of responsibility, service and perseverance πͺπ.
One Scout, Kai, summed up the experience perfectly: βThis is so fulfilling. Can we do this every week?β π
True to their Scout Promise, our Scouts showed what it means to serve with heart and do their best in all they do. β

At North Vista Primary School, our EL Department brings oracy to life through authentic school experiences β creating opportunities for students to listen, speak, and share with confidence π€β¨
This has led to the birth of Musings@NV, our school-based mini publication π°
In this publication, our Vistalites engage with school events through guided reflections and classroom conversations. Carefully curated talking points support rich discussions, helping students make meaningful connections between themed events and their own lived experiences π¬
Each issue also includes fun puzzles to build their thematic word bank, equipping them with the language to express themselves clearly πβ¨
Musings@NV sparks thinking, conversation, and connection β growing confident communicators, one voice at a time π

π Learning Beyond the Classroom! π
Our Primary 3 Vistalites recently embarked on an enriching Learning Journey to the Geylang Serai Heritage Gallery and a precinct walk around Geylang Serai. π‘β¨ Through interactive exhibits and guided exploration, they discovered the rich heritage of the Malay community and their contributions to Singapore's nation-building.
Beyond the meaningful learning, the experience also strengthened friendships as students explored, discussed, and discovered together with their classmates.
These authentic learning experiences are at the heart of what we do β nurturing culturally-aware, confident, and connected learners. πͺβ€οΈ

π An inspiring Author Talk for our P2 Vistalites! π
Our P2 students had a wonderful session with author Mr Quek Hong Shin during their Chinese lessons πβ¨. Through the wordless picture book Chou Chou, they explored the theme of kinship and love, discovering how the story connects three generations in a meaningful way.
Engaging directly with the author, our young learners deepened their understanding of using Chinese in daily life, while also learning to express care, empathy and appreciation for their loved ones π.
A truly memorable and meaningful learning experience!
