As everyone celebrates Singapore’s 60th birthday with joy, my heart carries an ache that words can hardly hold. For the first time in 25 years, there are no little voices singing, no bursts of laughter from children waving their flags, no tiny footsteps rushing into my arms. The centre that once pulsed with life now stands in silence.

As I pack for the handover, every corner whispers memories—faces I have loved, smiles that once lit up these rooms, the warmth of tiny hands holding mine. Tears fall as the scenes of our journey replay—National Days filled with songs, cheers, and innocent joy.

Today, while the nation’s flags fly high, my heart holds its own flag—woven from love, gratitude, and the countless moments that made this place my life’s work. This place that house Emmanuel Child Educare may grow quiet, but the love of the children and the memories of these 25 years will forever live in me.

As we closed the chapter after Emmanuel Child Educare's remarkable 25-year journey, we bid a fond farewell to our beloved "home away from home" and "family-focused childcare". This momentous occasion is a testament to the transformative power of love, laughter, and learning.
