Throwback to another concert that we attended together with our students on a beautiful Sunday during the June holidays - Sparks, Camera, Action! @ the esplanade! 🎻🎺🎷
This time round was something different - we watched a concert band performed by conductor Miss Chan Peck Suan and SparksWinds which brought us on a dazzling cinematic journey through a rich repertoire of iconic film soundtracks! It was a first time for many of them to watch a concert without piano and they were all saying that they have enjoyed the concert. They were very intrigued by the instruments that they saw! Hoping that we will get more opportunities like this in the future too! ☺️

One way to help our students and learners move beyond “I can’t do this” is to reframe mistakes and difficulties as opportunities for learning.
Experiencing setbacks, mistakes and struggles are just a part of the learning process. It is just a natural part of real world learning. They should not be
discussed as failure but as parts of a process that need improving.
Making a mistake with high confidence and then being corrected is one of the most powerful ways to absorb something and retain it. Learning about what is wrong hastens the understanding of why the correct solutions are appropriate but we should not interpret that as failure.

Here’s a big throwback to our piano concert last year in december with almost full attendance where our students performed and shined so brightly on stage! 🎹✨
We celebrated the festive season - Christmas together with games and a lucky draw too! Congratulations to all winners! 🥰 We hope that our students enjoyed themselves. We also awarded prizes to students who had the best performances and those who had the most votes.
We are thankful for our students’ active participation in this event and also to their parents, we are grateful to have their support of their child’s music learning journey all these while and for taking the time to attend this event.
Looking forward to our next concert this year to make more fun memories together! ⭐️

Many of our students were so nervous but we could tell that they all did their best and performed successfully! It is always a great thing to be able to share your music with an audience and it takes a lot of courage for one to play in front of a huge crowd. They did it and we are so proud of them! 👍🏻

Student S has finally completed his video exam recording and we have submitted his entry! Yay!🥳
We are so proud to see the improvements and progress he has made through the preparations for this exam. He was also more independent than before. From someone who was initially so shy in performing to being able to speak confidently and perform well in front of a camera, it’s a win that we should celebrate no matter what the results are. We wish him all the best for the results! ✨
