Fresh from a trip to Southern Italy—the same region that inspired so much of the vibrant Mediterranean aesthetic and home to Siser 🇮🇹💛—watercolor artist Mickey Velarde turned her travel memories into art.

Known for her effortless and elegant watercolor style, Mickey painted these bright lemon illustrations by hand, capturing a little piece of Italy's sunshine. ☀️🍋

To bring her artwork to life, she:
🎨 Painted the lemons in watercolor
🖨️ Printed the designs using a Canon GX3070
✂️ Cut them with a Siser cutting machine
✨ Used Siser DTV (Direct to Vinyl) to create these beautiful fabric embellishments

We love seeing how traditional art and modern crafting tools come together to create something uniquely personal. 💛

Meet our Siser Featured Crafter, Jon Villasper 👨🏻‍🎨

A geographer, full-time househusband, birdwatcher, and the creative mind behind Jinx Birder Designs. 🐦🎨

As one of the pioneers of the Philippine birdwatching scene, Jon brings Philippine birds and wildlife to life through his original art and designs. After struggling with unreliable machines and costly rejects, discovering Siser changed everything.
