The aim was to promote aviation and start training youths aged 12 and above, to be future RSAF pilots or continue their interest in the aviation industry. In that year, 2013, our school’s student, Luzian, represented Singapore in the ‘2013 World Wide Electric Control Line Competition’ and emerged Champion! He also participated in the 2013 Rat Race Control Line and emerged 4th. Our school’s Principal, Mr Leong, was called down to the SYFC HQ during the Inter-school Aeromodelling Competition Closing Ceremony 2013 as the Guest-Of-Honour. In the following years, SYFC also had many awards from Inter-schools Aeromodelling Competitions, to National Competitions such as the Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition(SAFMC). EFSYFC will continue to train the students to strive hard and persist no matter how great the challenge is to achieve our aspirations to be a World Class RSAF Pilot.
