πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€πŸ GICC June Holiday Sports Workshops concluded successfully today after 4 days of engaging and enriching sessions!

Participants across Athletics, Basketball and Cricket enjoyed a fun-filled and enriching experience focused on skill development, fitness, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. Through structured training sessions, drills, and game-based activities, students strengthened their fundamentals while building confidence and making new friendships.

We thank our coaches – Mr. Jerald Jeganathan & Mr. Munish Arora for their dedication, guidance and encouragement. We also thank our participants for their enthusiasm and active participation which made the workshops a great success.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our regular term programmes starting 11th July.

The students brought the story to life with enthusiasm, confidence, and creativity, making the performance a truly memorable experience. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication.

A special thank you to Ms. Ashie Singh for her passion, creativity, and unwavering commitment in mentoring the students and guiding them towards a successful production.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Mrs. Aparna Temurnikar, Ms. Sarita Alurkar (Senior Director & Head, GICC), and Ms. Melissa Maria for their support, encouragement and presence at the showcase.

Our Odissi students had the honour of performing at the Citizenship Ceremony of Chua Chu Kang GRC and Bukit Gombak SMC, held on 30th May. The event was graced by Hon’ble Minister for Manpower, Dr. Tan See Leng.

Their performance on β€˜Rupang Dehi Jayang Dehi’ was presented as a tribute to the strength, courage, and resilience of women - highlighting their vital role in shaping the nation and upholding the values of unity, freedom, and equality. The performance was warmly received and applauded by all present.

We extend our sincere thanks to Constituency Manager of Chua Chu Kang GRC, Mr. Tasnim, for the kind opportunity, and our heartfelt appreciation to Guru Srabonti Dutta for her dedicated guidance and continued support of our students.

Through engaging storytelling activities, children will explore creativity, imagination, voice modulation, stage confidence and expressive speaking in a fun and interactive environment.

A seasoned storytelling coach with over 30 years of experience in early childhood and primary education.

Proud moments from the Odissi Festival 2026 ✨

Our Odissi Guru, Ms. Srabonti Dutta, and her students - Aarika Vombatkere, Neeti Upadhye & Twisha Umesh performed at the festival on 23rd May and captivated the audience with their beautiful and graceful presentations. Their performances – β€˜Poetry of Pallavi & Abhinaya’ were warmly applauded and appreciated by all present 🌸

We are proud of our students and thankful to Guru Ms. Srabonti Dutta for her dedication, guidance and commitment in nurturing and promoting the classical art form of Odissi πŸ™

A special thanks to Bhaskar's Arts Academy for initiating this wonderful festival dedicated to the promotion, preservation and celebration of Odissi.

GICC Bharatanatyam, Kathak & Odissi students had the honour of performing at the Sri Vadapathira Kaliamman Temple on 16th May during the Sri Ramar Vasantha Urchavam Cultural Programme.

The students presented their performances beautifully and received warm appreciation from the audience. We are proud of their dedication, confidence and graceful presentation on stage ✨

This inaugural festival by Bhaskar’s Arts Academy is dedicated to the promotion, preservation and celebration of the classical dance form of Odissi.
