CHILDREN'S DAY AT VALOUR 💙💚

Our Valourians kicked off the day with the Children's Day Appeal by Community Chest, reflecting on the importance of giving, gratitude and connection. 💛 Each level got creative with their own DIY keepsakes, bringing home something truly special to remember the day by! 🎨

The celebration continued in the hall, where teachers got everyone grooving to Count On Me 🕺💃, starred in a hilarious music video 🎬😄 and took on fun challenges in the Valour Games! 🏆😂🎯

The morning wrapped up with a fun round of guessing childhood photos of our teachers 📸👶 and a heartwarming sing-along of Semoga Bahagia. 🎶❤️

Children's Day may be over, but the memories our Valourians made will last a lifetime. 🌟💫

*P5 Values-in-Action: Food Donation Drive* 🎉

Together We Learn, Together We Serve 🌟

We are proud to share the completion of our Primary 5 Values in Action (VIA) project, a Food Donation Drive organised in partnership with Food From The Heart (FFTH)!

🌟 Through this initiative, our Primary 5 students developed empathy by looking beyond themselves and took an active role in supporting our wider community.

🤝 Working in teams over several weeks, students took on roles designing posters, creating box labels, writing scripts to encourage donations, presenting to their schoolmates and sorting donated items.

❤️ A heartfelt thank you to all our parents and families for your generous donations and unwavering support. Your generosity made this meaningful experience possible and showed our students the true power of a caring community!

LIFE@MK: Learning Through Wonder🔍💭

What happens when we give children the space to wonder, explore and discover? ✨

Before the September holidays, parents of our K1 children joined us to learn how to support their children's exploration and curiosity.

Through this experience, parents:
🌱 Explored questioning techniques to deepen children's thinking and spark meaningful conversations.
🔄 Uncovered the learning cycle children go through as they explore and build understanding.
🤝 Discovered how adults can scaffold children's learning while preserving the joy of discovery.
🔍 Stepped into the role of a scaffolder themselves, using purposeful questions to guide children's thinking.

It was heartwarming to see families wondering, discovering and learning together. 💛

Teacher's Day at Valour 🎉🌟

The morning kicked off with a lovely breakfast sponsored by the School Advisory Committee ☕🍞 A warm start to a special day! While the teachers savoured their breakfast, our students were busy in the hall putting together personalised notebooks as a heartfelt gift for their form teachers 📓✏️

The love didn't stop there! Students presented handmade cards and small gifts to their teachers 🎁💝 before the day wrapped up with a meaningful concert jointly organised by our Parent Support Group and Prefect Executive Committee 🎶🎤 Students from different levels took to the stage to perform for their teachers, making it a truly memorable celebration 🌟👏

Thank you to our teachers for your dedication, patience, and heart. You are truly appreciated, not just today, but always 💛🌻

🇸🇬✨ CELEBRATING NATIONAL DAY 2026! ✨🇸🇬

Last week, we celebrated National Day in the most amazing way! Our P1–P3 Sports Carnival fired up the energy ⚡, and the excitement kept building from there! 🎊

Our MK students celebrated National Day by recreating Singapore's iconic dragon playground 🐉, while our P4–P6 students also took part in meaningful activities to mark this special occasion! 🌟

The hall came alive with a proud flag march-in 🚩, vibrant performances by our talented students 🎶💃🥁, and an unmistakable Singapore spirit! 🌟

Flags were waving 🇸🇬, voices were singing, and the hall was bursting with cheers and smiles! 😄 Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond! 🇸🇬✨

🏕️🌿 Primary 4 Outdoor Adventure Camp 2026

Three days. Two nights. Countless adventures! Our P4 Valourians had an amazing time at Labrador Outdoor Adventure Learning Centre, returning home with new skills, stronger friendships and unforgettable memories. 💚

From rock walls and abseiling to the high elements obstacle course, they tackled every challenge with courage and grit. 🧗‍♂️ They also pitched tents, cooked outdoors, and hiked to HortPark and Bukit Chandu, where they learnt about Singapore's history. 🇸🇬

Through it all, they cheered each other on and grew in resilience, teamwork and confidence. 🔥

We are so proud of our P4 Valourians for showing that growth begins when we dare to try! 🌟

🎉🌏 Celebrating Racial Harmony Day @ VPS — Our Shared Heritage!

From our MK students to our Primary students, we came together to celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes Singapore so special! 🇸🇬✨

👘 Our MK students dressed in traditional attire and explored different races, languages, and cultures, even trying their hands at Chinese, Indian, and Malay instruments! 🥁🎶

🎮 Our Primary students bonded over traditional games like Congkak, Five Stones & Chinese Chess, enjoyed funfair vibes at the 'Good Old Times!' booth with our PSGs, and received old-school 'Kacang Puteh' biscuits! 🍿

💛 The Singapore Kindness Movement's 'The Colours We Share' assembly reminded us that empathy and respect are the heart of harmony. 🤝

🎉 NE Show 2026 🇸🇬

After 10 years, the National Education (NE) Show has returned to the National Stadium, and it was well worth the wait!

Our students were filled with excitement from the moment they received their fun packs, and the energy only grew throughout the evening. Seeing their wristbands light up in sync with the performances brought smiles all around.

The most unforgettable moment, however, was hearing our students sing the National Anthem with pride and conviction. It was a powerful reminder of our shared identity and what it means to be Singaporean.

An evening filled with joy, unity and unforgettable memories—one that our students will cherish for years to come. ❤️🤍 🇸🇬

Art Muse 2026: Exploring Korea!

Recess came alive with the sights, sounds and spirit of Korean arts! Students dived into hands-on art and music activities, exploring a new culture while expressing their creativity. 🎵✨

The fun continued at our upper primary assembly, where local artist Mr Zero wowed students with a live spray-painting demonstration and even got them involved! 🎤🖌️ Beyond the vibrant colours, students were inspired by his story of passion, perseverance and discipline.

More than a celebration of art and music, it was a journey of creativity and cultural exploration. 🌟❤️
