Alterisk 2013 An annual project organized by NTU Muslim Society (NTUMS), AlteRisk aims to reach out to disadvantaged youths of various backgrounds.

We are now in our 7th year running and it gets bigger and better every year! 'Dare to share for the ones we care'. As AlteRisk embarks on its seventh journey in 2013, this year’s committee will pick up on where last year’s committee left off by collaborating with Muhammadiyah Welfare Home (MWH). AlteRisk Camp '13 aims to cater to all 60 participants from MWH of ages between 10 to 17 years old. Up to 30 student volunteers, which include the organizing committee, will be facilitating to ensure the smooth running of the camp. By extending its reach to MWH, NTUMS, as well as AlteRisk, will continue to persevere with its vision – “Towards the development of Mu’min personalities, leading society towards Mardhatillah (the Pleasure of Allah).”

Salaam Everyone! How's your exam preparation so far? Must be great isn't it? :)

This is a gentle reminder about Alterisk 2013 Committee Recruitment. Have you joined us? If not, kindly fill this form and be part of our awesome team! Using your holiday by helping our disadvantaged brothers in Muhammadiyah Welfare Home will be a rewarding one in a lifetime experience for you :D

"Your smile to your brother is a sadaqah (charitable act) for you. Your commanding the right and forbidding the wrong is a sadaqah. Your guiding a man in the land of misguidance is a sadaqah for you. Your seeing (showing the way) for a man with bad eyesight is a sadaqah for you. Your removing a stone or thorn or bone from the road is a sadaqah for you. Your emptying your bucket of water into your brother’s (empty) bucket is a sadaqah for you" (Tirmidhi)

So join our team and let these good deeds be your sadaqah to the MWH kids :D

Have a blessed exam period guys!

May Peace be upon all of you! Thank you for your interest in being part of AlteRisk 2013. May this journey be a meaningful and beneficial one, inshaa Allah.
