Our P5 students have completed their Applied Learning Programme (ALP), gaining valuable opportunities to apply their learning to real-world challenges. 🌟
Through Design Thinking, they identified problems, developed solutions and used Micro:bit and CuteBot to design, code, build, test and refine their ideas. Along the way, they strengthened their creativity, collaboration, problem-solving skills and perseverance.
It was heartening to see our students actively engaged in hands-on learning, experimenting with ideas, learning from challenges and persevering along the way. 💡🤖
Our sincere thanks to all our teachers and staff for their support in making the P5 ALP a meaningful and enriching learning experience for our students. 👏

White Sandians came together to celebrate Singapore's 61st year of independence with pride and enthusiasm under the National Day theme, "Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!"
The celebration provided meaningful opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of Singapore's journey and the values that have shaped our nation. Through engaging classroom activities and lively recess programmes, students reflected on the enduring Singapore Spirit embodied in "Majulah Singapura" and were inspired to dream boldly, seize opportunities and strive for excellence as they embrace the call to "Go Beyond!"
The celebration culminated in a heartwarming rendition of "You'll Be Okay", one of this year's National Day songs. As students sang in unison, the school was filled with a strong sense of unity, gratitude and hope for the future.

Our Primary 4 pupils had an enriching time exploring the Harmony in Diversity Gallery and the Telok Ayer Heritage Trail! From engaging interactive exhibits on religious harmony and mutual respect to discovering the fascinating stories of Singapore's early immigrant communities, every moment was a meaningful learning experience. A visit to the iconic Thian Hock Keng Temple brought history to life, sparking curiosity and deepening our pupils' appreciation of Singapore's rich heritage.
Beyond the classroom, authentic learning experiences like these inspire our pupils to appreciate Singapore's multicultural heritage and the shared values that bring us together. Seeing them make meaningful connections between our nation's past and present reminds us of the importance of nurturing compassionate, informed citizens who will continue to uphold the spirit of harmony and inclusivity that defines Singapore.
