Today, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, our children had a meaningful and heartwarming session filled with love and appreciation ❤️

This programme was conducted at YYD Education Centre, where the children enjoyed a special activity dedicated to honouring their mothers.

They watched a short video titled “My Mom is the Coolest!”, which inspired them to reflect on the many things their mothers have lovingly done for them. Through this reflection, the children expressed their gratitude in beautiful and creative ways.

Each child carefully crafted colourful pipe cleaner flowers into lovely bouquets 🌸💐, symbolising their love and appreciation. They also took time to write heartfelt messages, sharing just how much their mothers mean to them.

It was truly a joyful and touching moment to see their sincerity, creativity, and love shine through.

A special thank you to our dedicated teachers Hong Wei Lin and Louisa Wi for their guidance and care in making this session so meaningful for the children.

YYD Education Centre management team has successfully completed the final day of our First Aid & AED training programme!

This meaningful course has been rolled out to all our teachers, volunteers, and management team, equipping everyone with essential lifesaving skills. Throughout the training, we learned how to manage injuries with proper bandaging, perform CPR, apply effective compression techniques, and confidently operate an AED.

A big thank you to our professional instructor, Michael, for his clear, precise teaching and for giving our team the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with all the equipment. This has truly strengthened our confidence in responding to emergency situations.

We are proud to share that our entire team passed with good distinction marks — well done everyone! Let’s continue to stay prepared and committed to keeping our community safe.

Last Sunday at our YYD Education Centre @263 Tampines Centre Neighbourhood Police Post (NPP), our English Reading Programme came alive with excitement and creativity! 📚🎨

Led by our dedicated teachers Weilin, Louisa, and Lia, the children eagerly began a special reading project they had been looking forward to. With paints, brushes, and trays finally ready, the students started working on a meaningful artwork — a “Reading Tree” 🌳

But this is more than just an art activity. As the children continue their reading journey, the tree will slowly grow — sprouting leaves and even fruits! Each leaf and fruit represents their effort, progress, and love for reading.

It’s inspiring to see how learning can be made fun, interactive, and meaningful. Through this creative approach, our students are not only improving their reading skills but also building confidence and a sense of achievement.

A big thank you to our passionate teachers for making learning so engaging and enjoyable for the kids. Stay tuned as we watch the tree grow together with our young readers! 💚
