Teambonding at Adobe during lunch time today. People come and go as they grab their lunch and drop by to help with the paintings. Even the cleaners had a go at it.

Due to the intricate design, the canvases were pre-drawn for them first, so they could just fill in the colours. I spent an entire day tracing out the outlines 🥲, but seeing the result now is so satisfying!

Hen’s party at the studio today, and the painting matches our wall mural! They came with the design prepared and it coincidentally matches our wall 😂

Our large canvas painting is a great idea for any celebration as you bond together and paint something for the main person to keep. 💝

We’re so happy to have Ralph Lauren teams coming back again this year for teambonding. They did art jamming with us two years ago as well!

One of them asked me if I remember them and I actually do! I remember the paintings, the jokes and the laughter. Every encounter is precious to me and I’m thankful for all your support 🤗.

A fun idea for a date and you get to bring back beautiful paintings to display!

This is the most original team painting so far, not referenced from any picture or artwork!

The team came with no plan on what to paint and started by throwing ideas around, mostly related to their work values. From the very loose ideas, they had to think how to translate them to visuals. There were many things they wanted to represent as symbols and icons, but during the process they decided to do away with those symbols to avoid things being too literal. It was definitely a wise decision as this picture alone speaks much about them as a marketing team, while still being open to interpretation. This is up there on my favourite list!

The Starry Night by team Protec. They chose to do this painting at a very timely period as the Van Gogh exhibition is coming to Singapore in March. This is a chance to experience Van Gogh in a different way. Hopefully we get to see more Van Gogh in the teambonding sessions this year!

Whew.. I think we just had the most challenging team painting session so far, in terms of the difficulty of the design. It’s amazing to think that a group of beginners managed to achieve this! Great job team Idexx!

Yet another teamwork masterpiece created by a group of first-time painters. With a large canvas like this, it is hard to visualize what you are really painting at first. You just have to trust yourself, your teammates and our instructors to guide you through the process. Every brush stroke, every mark that you make contributes to forming the image. The painting will turn out eventually as you step back and marvel at the big picture that is formed through multiple strokes, layers, and colours.
