Inspired by the iconic Singapore Airlines safety video, our DHS70 Homecoming video reimagines the idea of “welcome home” — not for travellers returning to Singapore, but for generations of Dunmanians returning to the place that shaped them. 💙❤️🤍 Through familiar faces, meaningful encounters and shared memories, this video celebrates the warmth, friendships and teacher-student bonds that continue to define the Dunman High experience long after graduation. Along the way, it also offers light-hearted glimpses of how the values of 诚信勇忠 are quietly lived out in everyday moments within the Dunman High community. This video is lovingly produced by our recent graduates, Ying Xuan and Chloe, whose creativity and affection for the school shine through every scene. To all Dunmanians: welcome home! Former Dunmanian and Minister of State Mr Goh Pei Ming 吴培铭 (DHS 1995–1998) returns and shares his memories of Dunman High — unaware that behind the screen were two teachers who journeyed closely with him through Scouts: 翁生 Mr Ang Eng Choon and 张生 Mr Teo Tiong Hin. 💙❤️🤍 In the video, MOS Goh also reflects on the gratitude he continues to carry for the teachers who guided and shaped him during his years in Dunman High. One of the cornerstones of the Dunman High experience is the deep friendships and mentorship forged through our CCAs. Through shared challenges, teamwork, and countless moments together, these bonds often last long after graduation — something many alumni still carry with pride, much like our enduring CCA collar pins. 政务部长吴培铭先生重返母校，分享他在德明的珍贵回忆，却不知道屏幕后方正是两位曾在德明童军旅程中一路陪伴他的老师 —— 翁英俊老师与张中兴老师。💙❤️🤍 在影片中，吴部长也分享了自己一直铭记于心、对老师们的感恩之情。正是这些老师，在他求学于德明的岁月里给予引导与栽培。许多德明人最珍惜的回忆之一，莫过于通过课外活动所建立的深厚友谊与师生情谊。一次次训练、活动与共同面对挑战的经历，不仅凝聚了同学之间的情感，也让师生之间建立起长久而真挚的联系。在德明庆祝70周年校庆之际, 我们诚挚邀请所有校友于5月30日（星期六）回到母校，一同参与校友回校嘉年华 🎪，重聚母校，重温青春回忆。

Behind every medal, trophy and placing are countless hours of training, perseverance and teamwork. Across courts, tracks, fields and waters, we have witnessed Dunmanians pushing themselves with discipline and heart, while continuing to uplift one another as teammates and friends. It has been an exceptional week for Dunman High, with four teams competing in the NSG national finals! Our teams delivered outstanding performances:
🏆 Basketball (B Div Boys) – Champions
🥈 Basketball (B Div Girls) – 2nd
🥈 Badminton (B Div Boys) – 2nd
🏆 Badminton (A Div Boys) – Champions
Our two championship titles are especially meaningful, marking the first time Dunman High has reached the top nationally in these divisions at the NSG. In our 70th anniversary year, we celebrate not just victories, but the spirit, resilience, and collective effort behind them—a truly joyous and bountiful year for our school. 德明，加油! 💙❤️🤍

MARIRAYA@DHS (Hari Raya Celebrations in Dunman High School)
✨ MARI RAYA @ SCHOOL ✨
Our school community came together in a vibrant celebration of Hari Raya, filled with warmth, learning, and meaningful connections. 🌙💚
We were honoured to have our valued partners join us — the Principal, teachers and students from Madrasah Wak Tanjong, as well as the Chairman and staff of Masjid Darul Ghufran — whose presence truly enriched the occasion.
The celebration featured delightful performances by our String Ensemble and SH Band, alongside an engaging student presentation highlighting the similarities between Hari Raya and Chinese New Year. Through the concert, our Year 2 students also gained deeper insights into Malay culture and the significance of the festival.
Adding to the festive spirit, students enjoyed a Hari Raya food booth during their break, where they had the opportunity to sample traditional treats and experience the flavours of the celebration.
It was heartening to see everyone embracing the festivities, trying new foods, and sharing in the rich cultural traditions that make our community so special. Here’s to building a more inclusive and connected school, one celebration at a time. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri! 🌟

The school congratulates the 2025 Year 6 cohort for successfully completing their GCE A-Level Examinations! The school is proud of their hard work and achievements!
