Getting hands on with real Science! 🔎 🔍 🧠

BLGPS and the Science Centre worked on a joint pilot project to conduct an E2K activity in the Science Centre. Our students had the exciting opportunity to conduct chemistry experiments on their own for the very first time! It was a meaningful and memorable afternoon for our Curious Thinkers ❤️ 💯 🧪

In collaboration with the People's Association (PA), our school hosted the Chingay Education Truck during our National Day recess activities! 🇸🇬✨ Our BLGians learnt about the Chingay Parade and how it reflects Singapore's rich multiculturalism. 🚚🎨

By supporting the joint nomination of the Chingay Parade for the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, we stand united this National Day in celebrating our diverse cultures. 🌍❤️ It was a wonderful opportunity for BLGians to strengthen their national pride while fostering the cohesion, inclusivity, and unity that make us Singaporeans. 🤝🌟

As One BLGPS Family, we came together to display the spirit of "Go Beyond!" this National Day and partnered Food from the Heart in their National Day Food Donation Drive to support individuals and families facing food insecurity.

What a meaningful opportunity for our students and staff to go beyond our classroom walls and put into action what it means to be a "Compassionate Contributor" as we celebrate Singapore's 61st birthday. 😌🇸🇬🤍❤️

Our BLGians came together with vibrant energy and pride to celebrate 61 years of nation-building! 🇸🇬✨ Guided by this year's theme, "Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!", students reflected on our shared Singapore Spirit and commemorated the 60th anniversary of our National Pledge during our observance ceremony. ❤️

Our BLGPS Choir brought wonderful festive cheer to the community as they performed and sang their hearts out at the Boon Lay National Day Carnival. 🎶❤️ We are so proud of our BLGians for sharing their love for music and spreading joy to our Boon Lay neighbours! 🎤💖

Better together! Our prefects from different levels came together with our CCA leaders to discover how synergy allows us to combine our strengths and work towards a shared goal.

Following the joint session, our prefects revisited their recess-duty responsibilities before exercising student agency by choosing their own area for growth: public speaking or project management. Through collaboration, reflection and ownership, our student leaders are taking charge of how they want to grow and contribute! 🌱 🌳
