Singapore, The More We Get Together! ❤️🤍

This National Day, our school came together to celebrate the many things that make Singapore special. In the lead-up to the celebration, children took part in different experiences that brought us closer to Singapore’s places, cultures, food and traditions.

From learning about Singapore’s history, to sharing experiences at meaningful places around Singapore, to creating a special “birthday cake” for our nation, making Singapore flag bread and enjoying familiar traditional games and snacks, the National Day spirit could be felt all around the school.

The celebration day brought everyone together with our march-in and performances that showcased the different flavours that make Singapore uniquely ours. It was a joyful time for the school to celebrate and create memories together.

⏰ Nursery Exploration on Time!

What does time mean to young children? At first, it may seem like a tricky idea. But our Nursery classes showed us that learning about time can be fun, meaningful, and very possible!

Through their daily routines, the children became enthusiastic “routine checkers,” making sure each activity followed the correct sequence on the schedule board. This gave them a stronger sense of order and awareness of their day. They were also introduced to the calendar as a tool to track events, learning how days and dates help us plan ahead and connect to real classroom experiences.

To celebrate their learning, the children prepared a special showcase for parents. During the Parent’s Sharing, they proudly demonstrated their new skills through lively performances—such as identifying and singing the days of the week. Their enthusiasm and confidence truly made the concept of time come alive!

This joyful experience reminds us that even abstract ideas like time can be explored in playful, hands‑on ways that spark curiosity and build lasting understanding.

Ever wondered how learning real-life skills can be done in a fun way? Take a look at K1 Twinkle Tulip's Project Closure!

Through their "Clothes" Project, the children explored clothes through real-life experiences such as washing, drying, and dyeing. They focused on investigating how clothes become clean, how they dry better, and how natural ingredients like red dragon fruit and blue pea flowers can add colour to cloth. Along the way, they also noticed details such as sizes, tags and their care symbols. More importantly, the children learnt to ask questions, observe closely, solve problems, express their ideas and share their discoveries with others.

🌿 K1 Twinkle Tulip Trekking Adventure at Kent Ridge Park 🐯✨

Our K1 explorers set off on a thrilling mission at Kent Ridge Park. Guided by our instructors from Two. KII Adventures, the children trekked through winding paths, uneven ground, and natural obstacles, showing courage and teamwork every step of the way.

With every climb, crawl, and careful step, they discovered new ways to move across different terrains. More importantly, they learned to look out for one another, lending a hand and cheering on for their friends!

It was an adventure filled with curiosity, resilience, and big hearts — and our little trekkers completed their mission with pride.
