- HAIKU -

🌿 A Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry which consists of three lines that do not rhyme.

🌿Haikus can be written about anything. Generally, the topics of interest involve abstract concepts, seasons, nature, events

🌿The tricky part of a Haiku is to stick to the syllables. The rule is that the first line always has 5 syllables, the second line has exactly 7 syllables while the third line has 5 syllables again.

Students had a story-telling session with a book titled, 'You, Me & Empathy'.

The book is about a character called Quinn who models the meaning of empathy. Throughout the story, Quinn shows different ways of being understanding, compassion and kind.

Our students were excited when they are tasked to prepare a grilled cheese sandwich.

Their listening skills were put to the test as they need to do each step in sequence and follow the recipe closely.
