We empower migrant domestic workers (MDWs) and other low-income women with financial education! 🧡

Aidha’s courses are designed to build migrant domestic workers’ confidence in themselves and their future. Students learn how to save and invest, how to speak and present themselves confidently, and how to start a business. Courses start regularly and are led by trained volunteer mentors.

Graduation season is almost here, and we're excited to celebrate the hard work, creativity and achievements of our students! 🧡

Every year, our Graduation Competition shines a spotlight on some of the best Module 2 Personal Financial Plans and Module 3 Business Plans, showcasing the knowledge, skills and ideas our students have developed throughout their learning journey at Aidha.

Our finalists have been shortlisted by an external panel of judges based on their written plans. At the finals, they will present their plans to a different panel of external judges, who will assess both the written plans and presentations to select the winners.

Our students and alumnae had a lovely time getting creative at our Sunday Skills Workshop last weekend! Led by Aidha alumna Crisanta Guiquing, participants learnt the art of balloon twisting and had fun turning colourful balloons into their very own creations! ✨

𝗔 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁. 🌈

We all have dreams. A home, a business, a better future for our children, greater financial security. But wanting something isn’t the same as planning for it. And a plan only becomes real when we bring intentionality, action and consistency to it.

Aidha’s recent free Open House for domestic workers, was all about goal-setting and simple financial habits that can help you plan and reach those goals.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to our partners from iFAST for creating a fantastic workshop, and to their fabulous team for inspiring everyone who attended. Through simple, practical and fun activities, the workshop made financial concepts accessible and showed participants that better financial decisions can start with small steps today.

And then came the dream boards. Through an Aidha-led dream-boarding exercise, participants turned their aspirations into something tangible, a visual reminder of what they are working towards and why.

Everyone left with both sides of the equation:
Inspiration: a dream worth pursuing.
Ex*****on: a place to start, and a plan to move forward.

Thank you, iFAST, for helping our participants move from “I hope one day…” to “Here’s what I can start doing today.” 🧡

At our recent Sunday Skills session, our community enjoyed a special Singing Bowl Sound Bath with sound healer Veena Srinivasan. Through the calming sounds and vibrations of singing bowls, participants had the chance to unwind, rest and take a little time just for themselves. 🧡

It was lovely to see everyone embrace the experience and share a peaceful moment together! A big thank you to Veena for generously sharing her time and creating such a warm and calming space for our community. ✨
