With Decathlon Sports Fest 2026 happening this weekend, 15 & 16 August at Decathlon Singapore Lab, Kallang, Kian Lee Seng has completed our event infrastructure setup and the venue is now ready for Decathlon and their team to bring in the sporting activities.

Our scope included tentage, stage and backdrop installation, large drum fans and mist fans across the event grounds.

We also introduced something new this year — colourful fabric streamers spanning the carpark. Fluttering overhead in the breeze, they add colour, movement and a festive atmosphere to the entire space.

With our work completed, the Decathlon Singapore crew is now setting up the equipment for 30+ sports and activities ahead of tomorrow's opening.

From an open carpark to a colourful sporting venue — it's always satisfying to see the transformation come together.

Ahead of Decathlon Sports Fest 2026, happening 15 & 16 August 2026 at Decathlon Singapore Lab, Kallang, the Kian Lee Seng team has completed our event infrastructure setup across the carpark. For this year's Sports Fest, we provided tentage, stage and backdrop installation, large drum fans and mist fans throughout the event space. Setting the Stage for Safety

Another event brought from planning to completion.

For the SASS-JP Safety Campaign 2026, Kian Lee Seng provided a comprehensive range of event infrastructure — including tentage, raised flooring with carpeting, carpeted stage, backdrop production, ribbon-cutting props, furniture and cocktail tables.

Our involvement also went beyond the physical setup. During our pre-production checks, our team spotted resolution issues in the supplied backdrop artwork and assisted in reworking several of the logos before sending it for print. It’s a small step behind the scenes, but one that makes a difference to the quality of the finished presentation.

For the event's electrical requirements, our LEW connected the temporary supply to the existing switchboard, with the installation properly checked and tested to provide safe and reliable power throughout the event.

Every successful convention begins with a well-prepared venue.

For TableCon 2026, our team transformed an empty convention hall into neat rows of tables and chairs, creating an organised and welcoming space for exhibitors, game publishers, creators and thousands of tabletop gaming enthusiasts.

To complete the setup, each table was fitted with elegant black table skirting, giving the exhibition hall a clean, professional and premium appearance worthy of a large-scale convention.

From delivery and layout planning to the final alignment of every table, attention to detail was at the heart of every step. The result was a venue ready to host two exciting days of board games, role-playing games, trading card games, exhibitions and interactive experiences.

For this examination hall setup, our team delivered and arranged hundreds of examination tables, ensuring every row was perfectly aligned and evenly spaced. Using guide strings as reference, we carefully positioned each table to achieve a consistent layout across the entire hall.

From unloading and transporting the tables into the venue to the final inspection from the viewing gallery, every step was carried out with precision and attention to detail.

For St Ignatius Feast Day Fiesta 2026, our team worked alongside the organising committee over the past three months to plan the event infrastructure, ensuring everything was ready for the celebration.

One Missing Connection. One Serious Safety Risk.
Not every electrical issue is immediately visible.

During a recent LEW inspection of a temporary electrical installation, we identified an irregularity that required further investigation. The inspection revealed that the generator star point had not been bonded to earth.

A properly earthed generator star point plays an important role in ensuring protective devices operate as intended under earth fault conditions. Without the correct earthing arrangement, the installation may not provide the level of protection expected during a fault.

The issue was identified, rectified, and the installation was re-tested before commissioning.

This case is a good reminder that a thorough LEW inspection goes beyond checking that equipment is installed correctly. It involves verifying that every critical safety measure is in place and functioning as intended.
